Along with the Vanity Fair Best Dressed Awards, the Daily Front Row handed out its annual awards for outstanding achievement in the fashion industry. Among those that were honored were model Indya Moore, actress Zendaya and model extraordinaire Kate Moss. We’re recapping our favorite jewelry moments from the event.
INDYA MOORE: The Pose star made a dramatic and poignant statement with her jewels at the event. Her earrings which were composed of sixteen ‘keepsake’ frames and designed by Areeayl Yoseefaw of beadsbyaree showcased and paid tribute to sixteen trans women who were murdered in the US this year. According to W Magazine Yoseefaw explained of the framed faces on Instagram. “The issue is so pressing that after creating the earring and three days before the event, Bailey Reeves, a 17-year-old girl from Baltimore was killed. For her, Indya carried a frame around with her face.”
At the event, Indya stated “As you all know, or not, I am black, and I am trans. Right now the Supreme Court [is] voting on whether or not trans people can access employment, shelter, and healthcare in the same ways that you all have access,” making it a difficult time, they added, “to celebrate being celebrated for being myself.”
“Existence that requires bravery is not freedom. A life that requires bravery is not freedom,” Moore continued. “I accept this award in honor of the truth that the best award—the award we all deserve—is to be able to get home safe. I accept this award in good faith that my recognition doesn’t lead to the erasure of other trans and GNC [gender nonconforming] folks who also deserve healthcare, housing, safety, and visibility; magazine covers, runways, leading films and TV roles, doctor’s degrees, high school diplomas, college educations, and families; acknowledgment and respect. Not just when we’re on the covers of magazines, but when we are in the streets when we are poor.”

Singer Kehlani showed her support by wearing the label’s

HILARY RHODA: Unfortunately we tried our hardest to find an image of this dynamite deco beauty from costume jeweler Ben Amun and couldn’t find any! Nonetheless, the model got our pick for best necklace at the event.
KEHLANI: With all that feathery action on the singer’s frock Kehlani wisely stuck to stacking delicate diamond rings from ALTM Jewelry on her fingers and wore two different yet dramatic diamond and pearl ear cuffs from Lynn Ban.
SKY KATZ: The Raven’s Home star’s earrings have star power written all over them – literally! Sky wore Aetee Designs’ earrings with emerald drops and their Beelicious statement ring.
ANOK YAI: We love a pair of bright and bold earrings on a red carpet and model Anok Yai did just that with her coveted (currently sold out) electric orange rhinestone circle crochet chandeliers from
