The 2020 Monte-Carlo Gala For Planetary Health kicked off on Thursday (September 24) in Monaco, hosted by the Prince’s foundation. A-list actors, actresses, philanthropists, decision-makers, and scientists gathered to discuss the challenges the planet’s environment faces. Helen Mirren joined forces with fellow actress Kate Beckinsale and Princess Charlene of Monaco to bring their jewelry A-game to the red carpet for this charitable event.
HELEN MIRREN: Now this is how you make a red carpet entrance! Mirren set the bar high with this extravagant suite of jewels set with yellow and white gold and Lagoon tourmalines, peridots, tsavorite garnets, emeralds, diamonds, coral, and South Sea pearls – part of Dolce & Gabbana’s Alto Gioielleria Couture collection which you read more about here. So many of you may be on the fence with this jewelry look but we love it! Seems Mirren has a flair for wearing dramatic gems – remember her Catherine the Great look?
PRINCESS CHARLENE OF MONACO: Repossi’s Brevis necklace never looked so good! The white gold and diamond asymmetrical choker accented with two huge pear shape diamonds at the end glittered around the royal’s neck.
CINDY BRUNA: The only thing better that one necklace? Three of them! The model wowed us with her divine jewelry combination of diamond and emerald layered necklaces and earrings from Orlov Jewelry’s Croco Dream Collection.
KATE BECKINSALE: Kate is a huge fan of the drop earring so it came as no surprise that she sported a gorgeous pair of inverted diamond teardrop ones from Anabela Chan at the event. Simplicity at its best.SOFIA RESING: The Brazilian beauty was dripping in nearly $164,000 worth of diamonds courtesy of her Serpenti diamond coiled bracelet and Viper diamond earrings from Bulgari.
