The pandemic isn’t stopping the biggest music stars from bringing their jewelry A-game to this year’s VMAs! The 37th annual ceremony undoubtedly looked different than previous years and we were a little unsure whether there would be a star-studded red carpet leading up to the main event! To our surprise, MTV delivered and celebs like Miley Cyrus, Doja Cat, and Madison Beer hit the carpet a safe distance of 6 feet of course to bring us all the glitz and sparkle we know and love from the VMAs!
DOJA CAT: Looking fierce in fire engine red the 24-year-old singer who is nominated for a ton of awards at the show tonight, including Song of the Year for “Say So” and Push Best New Artist dripped in rubies, diamonds, fire opals, pink sapphires and rubellite jewelry from Lorraine Schwartz! Schwartz’s signature 2B happy diamond bracelets were stacked on Doja’s wrists and Ofira’s juicy gemstone and diamond rings were piled high on her fingers!
LADY GAGA: Ready to blast-off! The silver siren was space-age chic on the carpet complete with diamonds! Our eyes caught a pair of Dena Kemp bracelets alongside a very special bespoke Chromatic diamond pendant from jeweler Edward Avedis shown below! While accepting the award for Best Collaboration for “Rain on Me” Gaga stated, “This is for us… we turned our tears that felt like endless rainfall, into Diamonds,”.

Gaga continued to reign supreme during her acceptance speeches as she was spotted wearing House of Emmanuele’s crystal and pearl statement necklace. Shiny gold rings from Lillian Shalom and a divine green amethyst and sculptural black rhodium bracelet from German Kabirski completed her dramatic ensemble only Gaga herself could pull off!
An eye-popping combination of a Lance Victor Moore ‘Jellyfish’ metal mask combined with sleek silver Lillian Shalom’s sculptural rings created one of Gaga’s most memorable VMA jewelry moments.
NICOLE RICHIE: The Nikki Fre$h star proved it’s always a good idea to match your jewels to your dress! We’re swooning over her House of Emmanuele crystal Swarovski embellished crown headband plated in silver (which by the way was worn by Paris Hilton!) and her delicate gold and emerald Cathy Waterman earrings that perfectly complimented her Cong Tri dress!
ARIANA GRANDE: What does $31,000 worth of diamonds look like? Just ask Ariana Grande! The Rain on Me singer iced out her earlobes with a very pricey pair of Plateau diamond gold earrings from Vhernier!
JOEY KING: Versace Versace Versace! King knocked it out the park with her Versace jewels at the VMAs. A pair of iconic Versace medusa medallion earrings from Lang Antiques were paired with two chunky gold chains from the Italian label. A barbed wire, 4 ruby row stackable and Mate rings from Established Jewelry were mixed with Ellie Vail’s very affordable $42.00 Brooklyn Chain ring. 
SOFIA CARSON: Looks like the actress loved Ariana Grande’s Vhernier diamond earrings so much she decided to wear the same pair! Only difference? She topped hers off with a matching 18K white gold and diamond pave ring from the brand’s Fibula Collection.
MILEY CYRUS: This jewelry look was quintessentially Miley! I mean who else would Cyrus wear? Miley has been a long time fan of jeweler Loree Rodkin and wore Rodkin’s $14,000 diamond disc hoops with an edgy diamond pave ID necklace! According to reports, Cyrus piled on a total of 14 pieces during her performance alone! 
MACHINE GUN KELLY: You gotta love a guy who is confident enough to pull off a head to toe pink red carpet look paired with a strand of pearls! The Best Alternative Video for “Bloody Valentine’ winner’s necklace is courtesy of AD.iii BTW did he take a style cue with those pearls from Harry Styles?
