The 2021 BET Awards which honors Black individuals’ achievements in music – aired live Sunday night and guests such as Saweetie, Zendaya & Queen Latifah were dripping in show-stopping gems! SAWEETIE: Saweetie pulled off not one but two gorgeous Bulgari jewelry looks at Sunday night’s BET Awards. If her earrings which were set with rubellite and amethyst beads and diamonds look familiar that’s because they were worn by Zendaya at this year’s Critics’ Choice Awards. Stacks of diamond Serpenti gems completed one of our favorite BET Awards jewelry red carpet looks.
While presenting Saweetie glowed in a D & G ruby rhinestone-embellished dress complete with a gorgeous Bulgari high jewelry ruby and diamond necklace that actress Jurnee Smollett also wore to the SAG Awards.
CHLOE BAILEY: At first glance, we thought these were Lorraine Schwartz earrings (after all, Chloe is Beyonce’s protege) but were pleasantly surprised to find out that these gorgeous diamond mesh danglers are from Jacob & Co.
QUEEN LATIFAH: Honored with the Lifetime Achievement award, this Queen only needed a pair of Ofira’s $14,800 18-karat rose gold Box light brown diamond hoop earrings to add sparkle to her Thom Browne red carpet look.
While accepting her award, Latifah wore Lorraine Schwartz’s 18K white gold and white diamond front back mesh earrings worth a cool $260,000.
LIL KIM: A lot of you will be saying that this jewelry look, which comes from Dolce & Gabbana’s Fall 2021 runway, is a little over the top but we think the rapper pulled it off just fine.
SUMMER WALKER: We’re not sure how many carats Walker wore on the BET carpet but we can only assume it was A LOT. Her diamond necklace, rings, and diamond-encrusted Rolex were all from Status Jeweler.
JENNIFER HUDSON: One necklace was never enough for Jennifer as she piled on Pasquale Bruni’s 18k Rose Gold Aleluiá necklace of white and champagne diamonds worth $56,000 with Yvan Tufenkjian’s $20,200 rose gold and marquise diamond choker! She made a tribute to Aretha with her ‘RESPECT’ necklace.
MEGAN THEE STALLION: Giving us a Greek goddess vibe, Megan dripped in Bulgari diamond jewelry. Not only did she wear the brand’s B. Zero diamond ring in white gold, a high jewelry ring in white gold consisting of 1 oval diamond (3,02 ct), 20 step cut diamonds, and pavé-set diamonds, and a jaw-dropping diamond necklace, she topped off the look with emerald and white diamond Serpenti earrings.
TARAJI P. HENSON: The BET Awards host flashed a fistful of Nadine Aysoy rings which included two eye-catching cocktail rings from her Elle et Lui Collection consisting of green Tourmalines, diamonds, and pearls. She topped the look off with matching earrings.
TYLER THE CREATOR: Out of all the rapper chains to hit the BET red carpet Tyler the Creator’s multi-colored stone and diamond $500k Bellhop necklace stood out amongst the rest. The Alex Moss creation which matches the rapper’s outfit, features 887 grams of 18k gold, 186 carats of VVS diamonds, 60 carats of pink sapphires, and 23,517 stones individually set by hand. According to TMZ Tyler hit him up about 7 months ago to get started on the piece, and it took him 4 months just to find the colored diamonds for it. ZENDAYA: Zendaya had everyone crazy in love with her ode to Beyonce with her BET red carpet look! Her stylist Law Roach must have loved her yellow and white diamond jewels from the Oscars so much that the starlet ended up wearing the same cocktail ring from that night alongside a similar pair of yellow and white diamond drop earrings!
FLO MILLI: The rapper and songwriter wore over $32,000 worth of black diamonds, sapphire, and jade jewelry from Nadine Aysoy’s Celeste Collection.
MEREBA: We just adored Beads Byaree’s Magdala choker on the singer, rapper, and songwriter.
However, her epic jewelry moment occurred during her Single Rider performance where she wore Beads Byaree Lantern earrings which lit up!
