Demi Moore, Doja Cat, Paris Hilton and a galaxy of stars turned the 2025 LACMA Art + Film Gala into a full on jewelry showdown. The annual fundraiser supporting the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s exhibitions, acquistions and programs? Totally overshadowed by carats, bling and statement pieces. Angela Bassett and Bruna Marquezine proved statement earrings are the real MVP, Salma Hayek debuted a show-stopping Gucci necklace and Doja Cat basically won a red carpet medal for the most carats. By the end of the night, it was clear: at LACMA, the only thing bigger than the art is the jewels.
DOJA CAT: It was a numbers game at LACMA and Doja Cat won! Red carpet entrance? A whopping 209.96 carats of Jacob & Co. High Jewelry, including a 35.75-carat fancy yellow radiant-cut diamond dangling from a white diamond necklace.
Performance look? Two Chopard Haute Joaillerie necklaces: one with 88.48 carats of diamonds, the other with 50.65 carats of yellow diamonds plus 80.56 carats of colorless diamonds. And the ears? Another 26.82 carats of diamonds on chandelier earrings. Numbers never looked this good, and yes, we did the math and she absolutely slayed.
DAMSON IDRIS:Â Damson rolled up to LACMA wearing his own flex. The actor pinned on a brooch from his line, Didris, starring an almost 11-carat emerald surrounded by 18 special-cut tourmalines. When your jewelry line looks this good, why borrow?
SALMA HAYEK: Hayek’s fingers were swimming in style with Daniela Villegas baby manta ray rings and a Boucheron Vendome Lisere ring but it was the debut of Gucci’s newest High Jewelry Labirinti necklace with its 24.75 carat round cut tanzanite, that really made waves.
DEMI MOORE: Another Gucci High Jewelry debut? Demi Moore just claimed it. Never-before-seen earrings and a matching bracelet hit the red carpet, while a stacked arsenal of rings, including the Horsebit and Multifinger, were worn for maximum drama.
PARIS HILTON: Hilton doubled down on glam with Gucci Link to Love white gold diamond bracelets, because one just isn’t ever enough.
ANGELA BASSETT: Angela Bassett did what Angela Bassett always does, she delivered! The legend hit up LACMA gala in an electric lime green gown paired with David Webb’s Angel Wings earrings of faceted rock crystal and diamonds. Truly the definition of a scene stealer!
BRUNA MARQUEZINE: Who else joined the David Webb club? Brazilian actress Bruna Marquezine did. Serving up serious glamour in the brand’s South Sea baroque cultured pearl and diamond ear clips. A little vintage drama, a little modern edge and absolutely impossible to miss!
ASHLEY PARK: The Emily in Paris star’s Anabela Chan Lavender Scallop Lace earrings were straight up ear candy – delicate, dreamy and impossible to ignore.
VITTORIA CERETTI: The model’s arms and ears were a sugar-coated dream! David Webb’s Park Avenue Deco and Sugar Cap bangles stacked high and Jenna Blake’s pear shape diamond Candy Wrapper studs plus diamond ear crawler turning her lobes into pure candy.
DAVIKA HOORNE: As the only Thai actress and Gucci brand ambassador, Hoorne turned heads in double tiger head earrings from Demna’s Gucci debut.
ELLE FANNING: Fanning stuck with trusty diamonds for her red carpet moment, slipping on a Pluie de Cartier diamond necklace. A full cascade of diamonds never hurt anybody and Elle proved once again she knows exactly how to wear them!
