If the jewelry at the 11th Annual Governors Awards is any indication of how awards season is about to begin, we’ll take it! It looks like statement earrings ranging from diamond hoops to juicy emerald drops were the biggiest jewelry trend of the night.
SCARLETT JOHANSSON: Glowing in an Egyptian-esque golden frock, the actress amplified her look with the perfect jewelry pairings, wearing delicate one-of-a-kind earrings by Hanut Singh, a cabochon ruby ring by Misahara, and matching gold cuffs by Maxior.
CYNTHIA ERIVO: Fluted $95,000 emerald drop earrings accented with brilliant-cut diamonds in 18k gold and platinum from David Webb matched with Cynthia’s bold lime green gown perfectly.
OLIVIA WILDE: Long Amwaj fringed diamond sparklers added to the shimmer of Olivia’s ruby red Ralph Lauren gown.
AMERICA FERRERA: Still one of our favorite Fernando Jorge pieces America Ferrera pulls off the designer’s Disco earrings with effortless ease.
JENNIFER LOPEZ:Â We first fell in love with these Harry Winston Secret Combination hoop earrings on Thandie Newton at the 2019 Emmy Awards. Fast forward to last night where JLO paired hers with two simple but striking diamond necklaces and diamond cluster rings.
JODIE SMITH: The British model and actress wore a divine eye-catching gold and diamond collar from Cartier which she paired with simple diamond stud earrings and a bold and vibrant red lip. Loving this look!

LUPITA NYONG’O: Lupita added shots of color with her delightful gemstone jewelry from Bulgari. Her citrine, amethyst and peridot diamond earrings hail from the Italian jewelry brand’s Diva Dreams collection while her vibrant cocktail rings are from Bulgari’s Allegra collection.
GEENA DAVIS: The 63-year-old actress, who previously won the Best Supporting Actress award for The Accidental Tourist, received the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award while wearing two platinum and diamond bracelets, a pave diamond ring and Kunzite pear-shaped diamond earrings with diamond halos all from Neil Lane.
