When Kim Kardashian stepped into a Paris courtroom this week to testify in the 2016 robbery trial, she brought more than just her testimony; she brought serious diamonds.

It’s fitting, really. Nearly $10 million in jewelry was stolen that night, and in a full-circle moment, Kim returned to Paris wearing millions in glittering gems.

One of the standout pieces was a jaw-dropping $3 million diamond necklace by Samer Halimeh, New York. Bold and brilliant, it immediately set the tone for what could only be described as a statement appearance.

On her ears? A mix of high jewelry that would make any collector swoon: a diamond ear cuff,  two pear-cut diamond earrings by Repossi.

She also wore this $8,100 Briony Raymond Sloan pavé ear cuff in white gold.

But it was the ring that got people talking. On her finger was a 22-carat diamond ring by Lorraine Schwartz—two carats larger than the infamous 20-carat engagement ring stolen during the robbery. According to reports, it was even purchased with part of the insurance money Kim received after the heist.

The sparkle didn’t stop there. Around her ankle was a new and deeply personal piece—a custom anklet from daughter North West, gifted to Kim on Mother’s Day. The bracelet is set with each of her children’s birthstones, serving as a glittering reminder that her family is always close.

And then there’s the lone piece from the robbery that made its way back to her: a platinum-mounted diamond cross from famed jeweler Jacob & Co., reportedly worth $33,180. Police later recovered the necklace when a passerby found it outside the apartment complex that night.

Turning the courtroom into a catwalk, Kim’s diamond-loaded appearance was the ultimate power move, serving justice with a side of high jewelry.

Kim Kardashian’s Paris Robbery: New Details Emerge About Missing Diamonds and Kanye’s Engagement Ring

New, wild details are emerging about Kim Kardashian’s 2016 Paris robbery — and the shocking fate of her multi-million dollar jewels, including her famous engagement ring from Kanye West.

According to a new BBC report, Kim’s jewelry collection—valued at approximately $10 million—was stolen while she was attending Paris Fashion Week. Among the stolen items was her $4 million Lorraine Schwartz diamond engagement ring, a gift from Kanye West, secretly engraved with the word “Adidas” after Kanye’s massive deal with the brand.

Crazy Details After the Heist

At the time, Paris was still reeling from the terrorist attacks of 2015, which led to an increase in security measures and a huge number of CCTV cameras around the city. Thanks to the surveillance footage, police could track the thieves fleeing the scene with Kim’s stolen jewels.

However, despite the heavy planning, the robbery itself had some chaotic moments. During the escape, one of the burglars fell off a bicycle, dropping a bag of stolen jewelry.

In a bizarre twist, a passerby found a diamond-encrusted necklace the next day, wore it around the office all day, and only realized its significance after seeing news reports about the heist.

How Did the Thieves Know Kim’s Whereabouts?

A big question remains: how did the gang know Kim Kardashian would be alone in her Paris hotel room without her security guard?

Police believe Gary Madar, whose brother, Michael, had long provided transportation and taxi services to the Kardashians, was an accessory to the heist. Investigators suspect he fed inside information to the gang about Kim’s movements during Fashion Week.

Where Did the Stolen Jewels Go?

Tracking the thieves’ phone activity, police discovered that soon after the robbery, gang member Omar Aït Khedache — nicknamed “Omar the Old” — traveled from Paris to Antwerp, Belgium. Antwerp is famously known for controlling 50% of the world’s polished diamonds and 80% of its rough diamonds.

According to reports, much of Kim’s jewelry was either melted down or broken apart and sold off. Some gang members reportedly received as little as $80,000 for their share of the loot.

And what about Kim’s iconic Adidas-engraved engagement ring?

According to Omar the Old, the ring was deemed too risky to sell because it was too easily traceable due to the custom engraving. To this day, the ring has never been recovered.
