The star-studded Resort show was an ode to the Sixties meets ‘Valley of the Dolls’ and ‘Mad Men’. Uma Thurman, Sadie Sink, Kate Bosworth, Naomi Campbell and Jaime King graced the runway in chic silk printed pajamas with feathery details and crystal sequined embellished peplums and cut out dresses.
But let’s talk about the jewels shall we? Massive crystal rhinestone chokers dripping with pearls adorned the necks of the models, some even asymmetrical in shape. We had our eye on those 80s style digital watches that were festooned with crystals and pearls some becoming pendants on necklaces. What was noticeably absent were earrings from Miuccia Prada but we’ll settle for those giant gumball pearls any day of the week.

Ahead of the highly anticipated show Yoon took to her Instagram account and offered us a sneak peek at the SS19 jewelry range which she showcased to none other than Kim Kardashian.





Yoon created a slew of playful unisex rainbow-colored rings and bracelets that will undoubtedly attract a younger clientele for Dior. There were bumbling bee pins and bold initial CD rings, chokers, and ear studs glittered in gold while some were constructed out of semi-precious stones such as lapis lazuli, onyx, and amethyst. Clever iPhone cases had ring finger grips spelling out the brand’s name so that when you take a selfie, you can see Dior. Our favorite jewelry piece? Yoon’s ingenious take on the safety pin, transforming it from a common find to a soon to be cult coveted Dior earring.
