Forget the designer labels, plunging necklines and shimmering sequins for a second … for many of the stars on last night’s Oscars red carpet, it was all about the jewels!

Let’s talk about cocktail rings. Why wear one when you can wear a handful? From Glenn Close’s circa 1915 three-stone, Burmese sapphire and diamond ring by Fred Leighton to H.E.R. ‘s fistful of sapphire and diamond Chopard rings, the stars donned rings set with a rainbow of precious stones.

Zendaya glided onto the Academy Awards red carpet in $6-million worth of show-stopping fancy yellow diamonds courtesy of Bulgari which made her look like a ray of sunshine paired with her lemon custom Valentino dress.

Diamonds will always be a red-carpet staple and we love how Vanessa Kirby wore her Cartier necklace back-to-front, allowing its platinum pendant to fall between her shoulder blades.

Another standout moment belonged to Emerald Fennell who won Best Director. She has been proudly showcasing her father’s fabulous jewelry creations all awards season long. This time was no exception as she wore Theo Fennell’s purple tourmaline and 2.61ct diamond pave ring, along with a pair of 18ct white gold 29.99-carat Morganite & pave diamond Chrysanthemum detachable drop earrings by her designer dad.

Amanda wore Forevermark’s exceptional radiant vivid yellow diamond ring, yellow radiant double drop halo diamond earrings, and Black Label diamond bangles.

GLENN CLOSE IN KWAIT & FRED LEIGHTON

Close chose Kwiat’s jaw-dropping  33-carat pear shape diamond earrings and an antique Burmese sapphire ring from Fred Leighton.

Bassett wowed in a gorgeous array of ruby and diamond Chopard Red Carpet Collection gems including a bracelet with Ashoka cut diamonds, set in platinum and a ring with an oval-shaped pink tourmaline, and two half-moon diamonds set in platinum.

ZENDAYA IN BULGARI

Zendaya rocked a yellow diamond transformable piece which consisted of two diamond collars with removable center brooch and tassel courtesy of Bulgari’s 2021 high jewelry collection Magnifica. White diamond rings and fancy intense yellow diamond pear-shaped earrings completed her look.

REGINA KING IN FOREVERMARK

King wore Forevermark diamond jewelry including diamond rings from their new Avaanti Collection.

LAURA DERN IN POMELLATO

Dern wore an exquisite combination of Pomellato Sabbia High Jewelry creations, including a rose-gold mesh bracelet topped by 539 white, brown and black diamonds set by hand, a pair of matching dramatic drop earrings set with a gradation of 606 diamonds of over 13 carats, and ring in rose gold and 111 diamonds.

OLIVIA COLEMAN IN CHOPARD

Olivia wore a sparkling array of Chopard high jewelry diamond earrings and cocktail rings.

VANESSA KIRBY IN CARTIER

Kirby looked magnetic in a Cartier High Jewelry necklace of 1,112 diamonds totaling 27.45-carats.

VIOLA DAVIS IN FOREVERMARK

Davis chose a wonderful array of diamond gems that were responsibly sourced by Forevermark.

MARIA BAKALOVA IN MOUSSAIEFF JEWELRY

Moussaieff’s classic 75.84-carat diamond necklace graced Bakalova’s neck alongside spectacular pink and white diamond earrings. This was further glamorized by a new creation, a ring with an 8 carat D color Internally Flawless diamond.

EMERALD FENNELL IN THEO FENNELL

Gorgeous Morganite and diamond Chrysanthemum earrings and a diamond and purple tourmaline ring designed by her dad were Emerald’s good luck charms at the Oscars.

The songwriter shone in H Dayan & Co. diamond lariat with a floral accent centerpiece and classic diamond stud earrings.

MARGOT ROBBIE IN CHANEL FINE JEWELRY

Robbie donned Chanel fine jewelry Voie Lactée ring and Coco Crush rings alongside a pair of diamond and pearl earrings.

RENEE ZELLWEGER  IN CARTIER

Cartier High Jewelry Honeycomb watch bracelet set with a round-shaped rose-cut diamond of 7.31 carats was spotted on Zellweger’s wrist.

REESE WITHERSPOON IN BULGARI

Reese wore an onyx and white gold one-of-a-kind Barocko High Jewelry bracelet and a Magnifica ring sporting a staggering 10.15 carats of octagonal ruby. Deco black and white diamond drop earrings finished her Oscar look.

MARLEE MATLIN IN NEIL LANE

Matlin wore Neil Lane Couture’s Art Deco style diamond and platinum earrings which featured 6-carat round-cut diamonds.

LAVERNE COX IN CICADA AND ANANYA FINE JEWELRY

Cox wore a colorful combination of Ananya fine jewelry’s Scatter diamond bangle and Scatter Floating ring of rubies, diamonds, and rock crystal. A pair of Cicada Jewelry’s pink sapphire and diamond earrings with their 17 carats and a Rubellite ring surrounded by multi-color sapphires in 18k gold finished her red carpet look.

Tribute to Prince and his color purple, H.E.R. wore a variety of diamond and deep blue sapphire gems from Chopard’s Red Carpet collection.

Best Supporting Actress winner wore diamond star earrings, dramatic lace diamond bracelet, and a show-stopping sapphire cocktail ring all from Chopard.
