Y/PROJECT: So who is the creative genius behind Y/Project’s Instagram worthy karma sutra jewels for Fall /Winter 2019? None other than Belgian- born Paris-based jewelry designer Stephanie D’heygere. The sculpted pieces of intertwined naked bodies wrapped around necks, ears and wrists were the talk of the fashion elite and left little to the imagination.

ISABEL MARANT: French cool girl and designer Isabel Marant infused a boho, nomadic ’80s feel to the jewels. Skinny hammered bangles and huge silvery chandeliers with fringe detail were covered with inlay stones and gave off some major Santa Fe vibes.

Among the celebrities that came out for the show were Kristen Stewart and Janelle Monae who wore jewels from

ALEXANDER MCQUEEN: Sarah Burton turned to Alexander’s punk rock roots with the brand’s sleek futuristic metal collars and warrior-esque cuffs. One could not help but notice an array of slim gold and silver hoop earrings travelling gracefully up the models’ ears. Bold linked chains adorned with crystals or twisted in a jumbled mess and scattered with safety pins created necklaces McQueen himself would be proud of wearing.

SACAI: There was only one jewelry component in Sacai’s RTW FW19 collection and that was a magnificient and simplistic golden sculptural ear cuff that creative director Chitose Abe debuted and designed with Parisian jeweler Charlotte Chesnais.
