Jewels from the runway: From Milan to Manhattan, jewelry looks and trends ripped from the runway
SIMONE ROCHA: Fit for a modern day princess designer Simone Rocha added a fun twist to the traditional tiara and swapped out the gold, diamonds and gem stones for crystal beads in shades of black, ballerina pink and pearly whites. We’re especially swooning over her pearl Girandole style earrings!
HOUSE OF HOLLAND: Utilitarian punk vibes meet global domination with a twist of Calder-esque jewels. Need we say more?

HALPERN: There’s always magic when Michael Halpern joins forces with jewelry designer Lynn Ban. Take the example of last year’s FW18 collection that consisted of Ban’s multicolored diamond hoop earrings and signature chevron rings. This year Lynn took it up a notch as models sported huge juicy colorful oblong gemstone rings surrounded by a pave border of either contrasting or complimentary diamonds. 
PORTS 1961: It’s clear that Natasa Cagalj has a fascination with texture as the creative director turned to hair extensions in different shades of color to create Ports’ tassel earrings and pendant necklaces.
TOGA: Seeing the jewels at Toga’s RTW FW19 collection reminded us of mini kinetic works of art. Colorful cascades of circular palettes shaped into tassel brooches, earrings and bracelets designed by founder Yasuko Furuta not only added movement but created an interesting embellishment detail as well.

OSCAR DE LA RENTA: Inspired by the Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba, located in Southern Spain where Oscar often visited, designers Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia drew inspiration from its history and the meld of Islamic and Christian religions. The pair showcased a collection rich in antique and cameo rings, bi-colored earrings and chunky chains adorned with hearts.
ANNA SUI:Â Â Saturated hues of bold blues, pinks, greens, purples and yellows combined with vibrant floral and houndstooth prints that showcased a campy sixties /seventies vibe aptly reflected what designer Anna Sui christened her RTW FW19 collection to be called –Poptimism. She turned to her good friend and jewelry designer Erickson Beamon to create gems that mirrored the ones you would find in your grandmother’s jewelry box but with a colorful psychedelic twist to them.
