It’s official! Paris Hilton has found love and her new diamond engagement ring is definitely worthy of an heiress!
According to People.com Hilton got a very special piece of bling this Valentine’s Day from boyfriend of a year Carter Reum. Reum popped the question on the heiress’s 40th birthday with a massive jaw-dropping one-of-a-kind diamond engagement ring. Hilton, wearing glitzy fingerless gloves, took to her Instagram account to showcase the huge emerald-cut sparkler on her ring finger.

As for who designed the megawatt carat ring, word has it that the huge emerald-cut sparkler was designed by jeweler Jean Dousset! — the great-great-grandson of famed French jeweler Louis Cartier! Hilton shared a video on her YouTube channel giving fans a sneak peek at the design process behind the gorgeous custom ring ( which they named ‘Paris’) via a hand-painted sketch highlighting the intricate details.
The ring which features two trapezoidal stones flanking the center diamond as well as dozens of smaller stones throughout the intricate setting was inspired by Paris landmarks including the Grand Palais and the Eiffel Tower. Congrats Paris and what a rock!
