CHANEL: It was a bittersweet moment at the Chanel FW19 RTW collection. The show, set in a snowy chalet scene, was a sweet parting farewell to its iconic designer and creative director Karl Lagerfeld. Models strutted the winter wonderland wearing wintery white pearl necklaces and earrings marked with the iconic double C logo. Lapis and turquoise beads brought an injection of color to statement necklaces and clear acrylic hoops and snowflake shaped pendants looked like they were carved out of ice. Among the celebrities that came out for the show were Kristen Stewart and Janelle Monae who wore jewels from Chanel Metiers D’Art Pre-Fall 2019 Collection.

ALEXANDER MCQUEEN: Sarah Burton turned to Alexander’s punk rock roots with the brand’s sleek futuristic metal collars and warrior-esque cuffs. One could not help but notice an array of slim gold and silver hoop earrings travelling gracefully up the models’ ears. Bold linked chains adorned with crystals or twisted in a jumbled mess and scattered with safety pins created necklaces McQueen himself would be proud of wearing.

SACAI: There was only one jewelry component in Sacai’s RTW FW19 collection and that was a magnificient and simplistic golden sculptural ear cuff that creative director Chitose Abe debuted and designed with Parisian jeweler Charlotte Chesnais.
