Influenced by the extravagance of the 1980s the jewels feature flamingo motifs inspired by Miami Vice to vivid pops of colors reflective of the artworks from Andy Warhol.

For Gucci’s Pre-Fall 2019 collection designer Alessandro Michele opted out of a fancy runway show and showcased 86 exquisitely dressed mannequins to the fashion audience. What came next was an alluring look book shot by Harmony Korine which showcased all the delightful and whimsical jewels the Italian powerhouse created for the collection. From winding bejeweled serpent necklaces, to spiky double G logo embossed pearls to juicy oversized strawberry pendants and bold gold ram head brooches, Gucci and the world that Alessandro weaves always has a spellbinding and magical effect.
