Bold jewels hit the runway at the Armani Prive Fall 2018 Couture show. The designer created a whole rainbow of baubles from black and champagne to shades of electric pink and turquoise. ‘Tresors d’Afrique’ – Unveiling of Chaumet High Jewelry Collection Party

The collection called Tresors d’Afrique encompassed 5 parts of Africa from the Ronde des Pierres: bright colors of the Nilotic peoples and their jewels, and Terres d’Or: reds and golds of the African desert sands to Espiegleries : which celebrated Africa’s flora and fauna.

JEWELS FROM THE RUNWAY: Christian Dior Fall 2018 Couture

Dior designer Maria Grazia Chiuri drew inspiration from animals once again  (see Dior’s Cruise 2019 collection ) and created an enchanted menagerie of gems for Dior’s Fall 2018 Couture show. Mischievous monkeys and birds were perched on branches accented with pearls and brightly enameled flowers that hung from chain drop earrings. Velvet chokers with magical unicorns adorned models’ necks and colorful statement rings graced their fingers as they walked down the catwalk.
