Ok so we know that you’ve probably already seen Jay-Z & Beyonce’s latest artistic collaboration for their video ‘APESHIT” a thousand times and read every blog post about the significance of the Louvre location and the artwork but what about the jewels?
The powerhouse couple enlisted stylists June Ambrose & Zerina Akers and boy did they not disappoint in the jewelry department.
According to June, Jay had a wide range of gold jewels to accessorize with and showed the Instagram community a glimpse inside Jay’s jewelry box.
In one outfit Jay wore a Dapper Dan Hercules rope chain similar to the one that was seen at the Dapper Dan x Gucci collaboration at the Gucci store pre-Met Gala.
Beyonce’s stylist Zerina Akers chose a pair of Rinaldy Yunardi multi cross chandelier earrings for the singer to wear in the “Apeshit” video. If the designer sounds familiar it should as he created Cassie’s memorable ear cuff at the 2017 Met Gala.
But what caught our eye was the stunning High Jewelry Persian Drop set by Messika Jewelry. The diamond necklace alone features over 71 carats and how could you not love those diamond chandeliers dripping from her ears?

PAL ZILERI: The designer caught our eye with his insect pins which were scattered throughout his SS19 collection. Beetles, bees, and flies in gold and silver adorned lapels and bags.

OFF-WHITE: Off-White designer Virgil Abloh had the male models parade down the runway in a series of industrial chic large gold and silver chain necklaces accented with carabines and locks intertwined with ribbons embellished with the label’s name. Does it not remind you of a modern take on a bike lock chain?

ETRO: Kean Etro delved into Japanese, African and Indonesian references for Etro’s Spring 2019 collection. Pins featuring bamboo stacks, African warriors and beaded shell collars.
