On the heels of the Oscars comes one of music’s biggest award nights – the Grammys and the boys did not disappoint! A huge red carpet trend was layering multiple necklaces, piling on fistfuls of rings, and affixing a glittery brooch or two to one’s lapel! Here are the best jewels from that night!
TREVOR NOAH: Looking dapper in a pale pink suit, the 2022 Grammy Awards host chose to wear the Noeud Diamants brooch, from the Histoire de Style, Art Déco High Jewelry collection, set with 229 round diamonds, on white gold and black lacquer from Boucheron.
JON BATISTE: Grammy’s biggest winner of the night added some very cool jewels to his custom sequin D & G suit with a Jack de Boucheron wrap diamond necklace and Serpent Boheme necklace. A Kaa ring, set with a 20-carat rubellite, and Fuzzy, the Leopard Cat ring, set with a green cushion tourmaline glittered on Batiste’s pinky fingers.
TRAVIS BARKER: Travis may have fooled many on the Grammy red carpet Sunday night.
According to NY Post, Barker seemingly hid a $9,900 diamond wedding band from Tiffany & Co. amongst the rings that he wore that night. How did it go unnoticed? He wisely wore the stunning band on his index finger instead of his ring finger. Reports that he wed Kourtney shortly after the Grammys solidifies the theory.
LENNY KRAVITZ: Only Lenny could pull off a plunging chainmail top and pair it with several strands of glittering diamonds on the Grammy red carpet! Kravitz coupled Highline platinum and diamond chains, a gold and diamond chain, and two 1 carat diamond tennis bracelets in platinum from House of Kantor.
ANDREW WATT: A co-writer on Justin Bieber’s smash hit Peaches, Watt decorated his pinstripe suit with $33,400 worth of brooches from Beladora. Our two favorites? The oh-so-cute Hammerman Brothers diamond and black onyx turtle brooch and the $18,500 large butterfly brooch set with white and pink diamonds and rubies with cabochon emerald antenna terminals.
NAS: Dripping in carats, the rapper sported an impressive diamond collar necklace with a Deco-infused duet brooch on his lapel.
LUCKY DAYE: Our best earrings of the night award goes to the first-time Grammy winner Lucky Daye and his divine Cartier Panthere hoop earrings which he paired with a showstopping high jewelry diamond baguette collar and sapphire and diamond stick pin.
JIDENNA: The rapper and singer was a Grammy jewelry favorite with his intricate and ornate stacks of gold cuffs and rings.
LEON BRIDGES: Besides flashing a golden smile, songwriter and soul singer Leon Bridges wore a very cool 14.74 carats Bulgari diamond Serpenti Viper necklace accented with rings from David Yurman, Shay Jewelry and a $7,875 pave marquise diamond head snake ring from Jacquie Aiche.
ERIC BELLINGER: The singer and songwriter could teach us a thing or two about layering necklaces! Bellinger chose to combine two Shay Jewelry collars which included a stunning ruby and diamond dot-dash choker and a marquise pink sapphire drop link necklace.
GIVEON: Giveon rocked a cool combination of Chanel diamond necklaces including a very impressive piece from the French house called ‘Perles Intemporelles’. The transformable necklace of cultured pearls and diamonds can convert into several styles and the large central camelia motif can be worn as a brooch.
When his stylist Yashua Simmons was interviewed by Vogue about the jewels Simmons said, “The jewelry completed the look in a way that references all the Chanel codes, yet it’s fresh, modern, and new.”
THE KID LAROI: We loved Best New Artist nominee LAROI’s dainty Saint Laurent stud flower cross brooch but what really caught our eye and melted our heart was his custom Ian Charms necklace. The beaded charm necklace, a touching tribute, features a photo portrait of a dearly beloved friend that sadly passed away.
