Best Jewelry At The World Premieres of ‘Don’t Look Up’ & ‘The King’s Man’

A trend we noticed as we’re ending 2021 was the return of wearing vintage and antique jewels on the red carpet. Case in point: FKA Twigs, Jonah Hill, and girlfriend Sarah Brady’s jewels at the world premieres of ‘Don’t Look Up’ and ‘The King’s Man’.

‘THE KING’S MAN’ WORLD PREMIERE:

FKA TWIGS: A stunning vision in gold, Twigs wore several pieces of antique jewels from Bentley & Skinner including stacking two Etruscan Revival gold bangles with a Victorian pearl and gold one. A pair of ruby and diamond Huggies were effortlessly combined with a gorgeous set of Victorian garnet and diamond drop earrings. The total cost? Approximately $47,000!

GEMMA ARTERTON: The English actress and producer chose to wear a striking set of jewels from Fawaz Gruosi which included a carved amber and amethyst bangle on her wrist and a pair of chandelier earrings of drop-shaped amethysts set with fuchsia sapphires.

‘DON’T LOOK UP’ WORLD PREMIERE:

JONAH HILL & SARAH BRADY: For the event, the pair turned heads wearing identical baby blue Gucci suits and antique jewelry.  With Jonah, he created his own floral corsage by pinning two antique enamel flower brooches and a c1900 diamond and black velvet pansy brooch to his lapel. A pair of black jade and diamond hexagonal stud earrings graced his lobes. The pièce de résistance? His 1920’s faceted aquamarine bead and pearl necklace by Tiffany & Co – all from Fred Leighton. “We’re that annoying mushy gushy couple that wears matching outfits all the time cause we think we’re cute together,” Brady captioned the Instagram post featuring the picture.

Not to be outdone by her boyfriend, Sarah chose to wear an antique sapphire, diamond, and chalcedony brooch, a silver, pearl, and turquoise swallow pin, and a mid-century French gold feather pin all from Kentshire. A necklace of brilliant Australian opals, blue sapphires, and lagniappe pearls with matching earrings by Wwake completed her look.

KATE HUDSON:  All eyes were on Kate’s Plume de Paon pendant earrings, set with diamonds on yellow gold. She paired the dramatic danglers with a Serpent Bohème L motif ring, paved with diamonds on yellow gold, and a Serpent Bohème ring — all from Boucheron.

NICOLE RICHIE: How could we ever forget Richie’s last epic ear game of antique Neil Lane earrings at the 2019 Baby2Baby Gala? Her jewels took our breath away then and this year was no different.  Not only did the Simple Life star stack a couple of dynamite cocktail rings from London jeweler Anabela Chan, but Richie also donned a diamond and emerald ear cuff with Chan’s Paraiba Orchid earrings — a combo that we think garnered the best earring look of the night.

MANDY MOORE:  Moore chose a chic pair of vintage diamond drop earrings in 18k valued at $2,750 from Beladora Jewelry. But her best accouterment to the gala was her dangling heart ring — an ode to her son Gus — who is often nicknamed by Moore as “Goosey”, hence the name ‘Goose’ on her Dolce Amore ring!

KERRY WASHINGTON: Are you getting major Diahann Carroll vibes from Washington’s red carpet look or is it just us? We just love the way those Samer Halimeh diamond earrings fit in perfectly with the mirrored embellishments on her Prada dress. Wouldn’t you agree?

JENNA DEWAN: While we love the soft pale blue floral brocade gown the star wore to the event, her Candy Ice Jewelry Droplet earrings with mismatched lemon and tangerine-colored gemstones added a sweet and colorful touch to Jenna’s full bloom look.

HILARY DUFF: Hilary’s fiery look came complete with sparkly diamonds a la Rahaminov Diamonds Jewelry. While we admire the diamond rings, we give kudos to Duff for taking advantage of her multiple piercings and wearing not one, not two but four pairs of earrings! The result? A classic curated ear look to fall in love with!

MIRANDA KERR: What to wear to a gala? Well if it were up the model, it would have to be diamonds!  Rahaminov Diamonds Jewelry pear drop earrings, line bracelet, and three-stone diamond ring, added just the right amount of sparkle to Miranda’s soft pastel lace look.

JESSICA ALBA: When it comes to Alba’s jewelry look for the gala, we’re grateful that the actress kept her earring look minimal by choosing a pair of diamond stud earrings from Neil Lane. The studs were a perfect pairing to the stacks of bold gold and diamond David Webb bracelets on each of her wrists.
