BRANDY NORWOOD IS BEING SUED FOR A MISSING RING!
- Is Brandy Norwood being sued over a missing ring? It sure looks like it! According to TMZ.com the songstress and her stylist are being dragged to court by Elle B. Mambetov, a fashion designer and Beverly Hills store owner over a $45,000 ring that she was supposed to wear at the American Music Awards.
Elle B. Mambetov claims Brandy’s stylist approached her last year about borrowing clothes and jewelry for the singer to wear at the November Awards show including a Dreamboule Big Bang Diamond Ring ( see picture above) comprised of 18-karat rose gold, with a sapphire crystal dome and black volcanic stone.
Sources are saying that Brandy never wore the ring or the clothes to the AMAs. So where is the pricey bauble? Elle was told that the ring was last seen on a piano at Brandy’s Calabasas estate according to Brandy’s stylist.

- So where did Betty White get her diamond heart necklace from? Many think it was a gift from her late husband Allen Ludden but it turns out to be from actress Jennifer Love Hewitt!
The two were good friends after meeting on the set of the Hallmark movie The Lost Valentine in 2011 and Jennifer has now revealed that for 11 years Betty wore a necklace Jennifer had gifted to her.
“Not a lot of people know this story and I have never shared it, but when we worked together it was instant love for me and when we wrapped I gave her a Tiffany necklace and she wore it every single day for 11 years,” Jennifer told ET Online.
“She had it on with her when she passed, she had my heart with her and she always will.”
Jennifer revealed it was “beautiful” to her that Betty was wearing the present – Tiffany’s heart diamond pendant – she gave her when she died.
She said: “She had it on when she passed and a friend of hers called me and said, ‘You know we have to take the necklace off, but it was the first time in 11 years that she took that off and that’s who Betty was, she knew, that for me, it meant something to give her my heart and she wore it every day, and every time she heard my name, you can go back and look at countless interviews and that little diamond, her necklace, that she wears is for me, and she would kiss it and she would always make sure that I knew she had it on and it was so beautiful to me that it was with her in her last moment.”

Kelly teamed up with edgy jeweler Stephen Webster (Christina Aguilera and Pink are big fans) to design a “Toi et Moi” style featuring the couple’s birthstones: a diamond for himself and an emerald for his bride-to-be. The style of two stones is often referred to as “you and me” and is one of the most historic ring-setting styles that symbolizes love stories and partnerships. This style first gained attention with a diamond and sapphire Toi et Moi ring that Napoleon Bonaparte gifted his wife Josephine de Beauharnais in 1796.
The two pear-shaped stones are set “on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love,” Kelly wrote on Instagram.
In a recent interview, MGK, told Vogue, “The concept is that the ring can come apart to make two rings. When it’s together, it’s held in place by a magnet. So you see how it snaps together? And then it forms an obscure heart,” he said. “And you see this right here? The bands are actually thorns. So if she tries to take it off, it hurts…. Love is pain.”
The ring is estimated to be valued at $350,000 and when interviewed Webster said of MGK, “He wanted something that was completely original and meaningful to both Megan and himself. He fed me lots of material in an almost lyrical form.”
The jeweler also said the rock star provided him with “possibly the most romantic story I have had to work with.”
But that’s not only the piece of jewelry Fox has to show her devotion to Kelly. Less than a week after their engagement, Megan Fox supported Machine Gun Kelly’s Dolce & Gabbana runway debut in Milan Italy by wearing a necklace by George the Jeweler. The multistrand statement piece features a custom 14k gold diamond MGK initial pendant, a gun pendant, and a saint medallion surrounded by diamonds.
PHARRELL’S NEW DIAMOND GLASSES FOR TIFFANY ARE CAUSING QUITE AN UPROAR!
- So what has everyone talked about in the jewelry industry? It has to be the latest collaboration between Pharrell Williams and Tiffany & Co.! According to WWD.com Pharrell went to the fall 2022 Kenzo menswear show in Paris on Sunday wearing almond-shaped sunglasses rimmed in 61 round brilliant diamonds of over 25 carats and studded with an emerald at each temple, teasing a new design project with Tiffany & Co.
“Tiffany and I are engaged,” he told WWD, flashing a big smile.
He said the sunglasses were the “first of many things that I’m gonna do with Tiffany.”
So why the uproar? Two pairs of Mughal glasses went up for sale at Sotheby last year. If you look closely it appears that the ones Pharrell wore to the show are very similar in style right down to the shape of the lenses. Many felt that the iconic blue box jeweler should have at least stated that they were inspired by these 17th-century glasses. Thoughts?
