Avril Lavigne has a new and very flashy piece of jewelry around her neck courtesy of her new beau Tyga. According to TMZ, Tyga gifted Lavigne the $80k piece and Avril wasted no time in showing off the necklace in a posted selfie.
The custom creation is by Eric Mavani and features 50 carats of white diamonds, black diamonds, and pink sapphires.
Clearly, a lot of thought and effort went into the design, as it not only features Lavigne’s first name, but also her first initial “A” imposed over a pink heart and a pair of skulls and crossbones with pink ribbons – perfect for the pop-punk princess.
It’s worth noting that Tyga and Avril were becoming extremely close during Paris Fashion Week and that was around the time Tyga reached out to Eric to create the custom piece. What’s that saying? That the way to a woman’s heart is with diamonds. Looks like Tyga got that message loud and clear. Cheers to the new couple!
