It’s back! The BAFTAs are here and so are the jewels! The British event, which honors the very best in film and television, served up not only a healthy dose of diamonds but a ton of jewelry surprises and delights. Scroll down to see our favorite BAFTA picks below.
Be sure to check out last year’s jewelry right here!
NAOMI CAMPBELL: The iconic supermodel tops our list of best BAFTA jewels with her contemporary and sculptural Fawaz Gruosi Official gems set with diamonds, emeralds, and onyx.
LADY GAGA: Oozing superstar style, we expected nothing less than Tiffany & Co. jewelry for this Gucci queen which consisted of pieces from the blue box jeweler’s Schlumberger Four Leaves collection.
LASHANA LYNCH: The James Bond beauty captivated us with her Tiffany & Co. Schlumberger Apollo diamond ear clips and an archival gold and diamond Tiffany & Co. bracelet of interconnecting links set with round sapphires and emeralds.
LUCY BOYNTON: We just adore Lucy’s Boucheron gems which featured the tiniest bird on earth -the hummingbird. Her rock crystal tassel earrings and ring both featured exquisite morganite stones with a 24 carat oval one set in the ring alone.
SIENNA MILLER: A statement necklace is always a red carpet must and Miller proved that point with her $181,000 Pompon diamond tassel necklace with matching earrings by Boucheron.
FLORENCE PUGH: Did Florence take a cue from Blake Lively? Pugh doubled up on Boucheron’s iconic diamond Plume de Paon pendant earrings to create an eye-catching BAFTA red carpet earring moment.
But the pièce de résistance was what was happening behind the dress as the actress created a dramatic moment by draping the French luxury jewelry house’s diamond feather necklace down her back.
LEA SEYDOUX: The French actress kept things simple and only wore a single pair of L’Élan Vital diamond earrings from Louis Vuitton’s Bravery High Jewelry collection which pays tribute to their fearless founder who was born 200 years ago.
MILLIE BOBBY BROWN: Is anyone else getting major Joan of Arc vibes from Brown’s Louis Vuitton gold and diamond sword necklace from their Riders of the Knights High Jewelry collection?
EMMA WATSON: As distracting as those bobby pins were in Emma’s hair, they couldn’t detract us from looking at her gorgeous Rain Fringe earrings by Tatiana Verstraeten.
EMERALD FENNELL: The filmmaker tapped her father – Theo Fennell for her BAFTA jewels which consisted of a very cool rainbow sapphire and diamond Venym brooch and a quirky Skull & Heart Opening ring which opens to reveal an enamel love heart with a customizable scroll.
CAITRIONA BALFE: Instead of wearing a necklace, the Outlander beauty
complemented her black dress with coral and diamond Van Cleef & Arpels pendant earrings, circa 1977. Added to her look was a Perlée diamond pavé ring and Snowflake diamond bracelet.
JESSIE BUCKLEY: Effortlessly edgy, the Irish actress and singer’s delicate diamond De Beers jewels soften Buckley’s glam gothic ensemble.
SALMA HAYEK: Hayek upped the BAFTA earring game with her whimsical asymmetrical Nuri diamond earrings from Boucheron.
KODI SMIT- MCPHEE: A diamond and onyx encrusted Cartier leopard brooch managed to prowl his way onto McPhee’s suit lapel on the BAFTA red carpet.
HALEY BENNETT: Bring on the rings! The Cyrano star gave us Scarlett fever with her Rubellite and garnet rings and bracelet from Elizabeth Gage.
JONATHAN BAILEY: Bridgerton cutie completed his tux with a black and diamond snake brooch from Bulgari.
MAX HARWOOD: Hayek wasn’t the only star to wear a feathered friend as the English actor pinned a diamond phoenix brooch from Cartier to his mint green suit.
KELVIN HARRISON JR: The Cyrano star gave us a tiny peek at his Tiffany & Co. Schlumberger Floral Arrows diamond brooch set with a blue zircon and diamonds.
