A$AP Rocky Debuts His Ring Designs at Chanel and the Case of Lily Collins’ Missing Ring

Rocky Turns Heads With His Gothic PAVĒ NITEO Skull Rings At Chanel

If you spotted something a little sinister sparkling on A$AP Rocky’s fingers at the latest couture shows, your eyes were not playing tricks on you.

The rapper quietly debuted his new jewelry venture, PAVĒ NITEO, while attending the Chanel couture show, dressed head to toe in Chanel for the debut of creative director Matthieu Blazy. Front and center were a set of dramatic skull rings that immediately sent the jewelry world into a frenzy.

Rocky later confirmed that the rings come from his own jewelry label and were created in collaboration with legendary Venetian jeweler Codognato, a house famous for its gothic skull and memento mori designs that have attracted collectors for decades.

The project did not appear out of thin air. Rocky reportedly filed a trademark for PAVĒ NITEO in 2024 and had already been a fan of Codognato, owning two of the brand’s iconic blindfolded skull rings before the collaboration began.

The resulting collection feels more like storytelling than simple jewelry. Inspired by the surreal visuals created with Tim Burton for Rocky’s album Don’t Be Dumb, the rings embody the six alter egos he introduced during the album rollout.

Working from reference imagery and the narrative behind each persona, Codognato translated Rocky’s characters into sculptural rings. The final result is a lineup of seven skull rings. Six represent Rocky’s alter egos and a dramatic bone centerpiece unites them all in one surreal object.

Think of it as a wearable autobiography with a little Venetian darkness mixed in.

Here is the quick breakdown of the personalities hiding inside the collection.

RUGAHAND

Rugahand leans heavily into symbolism and mythology. The skull features braided hair and pearl details, while carved side motifs include a Madonna holding a rose and a panther gripping a diamond. The design blends religious imagery, power symbols and luxury references, reflecting Rocky’s fascination with art history and storytelling.

GR1M

Inspired by the green face of the witch from The Wizard of Oz, the skull features A$AP’s iconic pink curlers, Ray Ban sunglasses and the megaphone.

DUMMY

The Dummy ring represents Rocky’s reckless alter ego. The skull bites down on a vivid ruby while rats crawl around the setting. The symbolism is loud and clear. Temptation, excess and the chaos that often comes with fame. The rats nod to street survival and Rocky’s Harlem roots, giving the piece a gritty edge beneath the glamour.

SHIRTHEADS

This ring is Rocky’s love letter to New York. A skull sits atop a curved onyx base where one shirt is covering the top of the head while another shirt is covering the mouth.  Ruby accents reference the famous I Love New York motif. The rats return here too, symbolizing the hustle and resilience required to survive the city. Shirtheads captures the raw downtown energy that shaped Rocky’s identity before the fashion world came calling.

SIX HEADED

Six different personalities of Rocky come together to form a surreal cast of characters that trace his journey from a Harlem kid to a global fashion fixture. The ring brings together all of his alter egos, including the fifth and sixth designs currently in production: Babushka Boy, which features a skull with a headscarf detail, while Mr. Mayers depicts a skull wearing a YSL foulard and gold earrings, a nod to Rocky himself.

In classic Codognato fashion, the skull motif also carries a deeper message. Memento mori jewelry has long served as a reminder that life is fleeting.

In Rocky’s case, it seems the message is simple. Life is short. You might as well wear something unforgettable

Lily Collins’ Missing Sparkler Finally Resurfaces.

Lily Collins recovers her stolen engagement ring

The case of Lily Collins’ missing engagement ring has finally been solved.

The Emily in Paris star revealed that she has been reunited with her original engagement ring from husband Charlie McDowell after it was stolen nearly three years ago.

“So grateful to @joethejewelerchicago for helping recover my original engagement ring after it was stolen almost three years ago,” Collins, 36, wrote via Instagram Stories on March 6. “Having this home means so much to us. I’m still speechless it’s back on my finger.”

The ring had been missing since May 2023, when Collins was visiting the spa at the The West Hollywood EDITION. During her visit, thieves made off with her engagement ring, wedding band and several electronic devices.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department investigated the theft, which was classified as exceeding $10,000. At the time, there were reportedly no signs of forced entry where Collins’ belongings had been stored during her spa appointment, leaving the disappearance particularly puzzling.

Nearly a year ago, it was reported that Collins had replaced the stolen piece with a new ring while the original remained missing.

Now, the story has taken an unexpected turn. Chicago jeweler Joe the Jeweler was able to recover the original sparkler and return it to Collins.

Naturally, fans quickly began speculating online about how the ring made its way to a Chicago jewelry counter in the first place.

One theory suggests the ring may have been resold and eventually brought into the shop for resizing. Another, more plausible possibility is that the jeweler purchased the ring at a jewelry show and later realized it belonged to Collins once its distinctive design was recognized.

The engagement ring itself is no ordinary diamond. It features a one of a kind rose cut diamond designed by Los Angeles based jeweler Irene Neuwirth, making it easily identifiable to those familiar with the piece.

However it resurfaced, one thing is clear. Collins’ long lost sparkler has finally made its way home!

AN UPDATE TO THIS STORY! The rumors were wild… until Joe the Jeweler revealed what really happened to Lily Collins’ ring thanks to his interview on Fox 32 Chicago!

The honeycomb and diamond bumblebee design reflects Wilson’s sweet nickname for Osbourne: “Honeybee.”

In a touching twist, it turns out that their close friend Joan Rivers also used to call Kelly by that name. “It was a nickname she had for her,” Wilson explained to Pascal Mouawad in a video shared by the brand. “I didn’t know this – it was an amazing coincidence. It was because she [Kelly] would buzz around, spreading good energy like a bee. I wanted the ring to reflect this somehow, using the honeybees and pollen and diamonds, obviously.”

Kim Kardashian Just Dropped a Major Jewelry Bombshell—Guess Which Kid is Getting Her 15-Carat Engagement Ring from Kanye West?

Kim spilled the sparkly tea on Thursday’s episode of The Kardashians, revealing exactly which one of her kids is inheriting her iconic 15-carat engagement ring from Kanye West!

SO WHO IS THE LUCKY HEIR?

North West will get Kim Kardashian's engagement ring from Kanye West

North West!

While chatting with Khloé in India, Kim shared that she still has her first engagement ring from ex-hubby Kanye—yes, the famous 15-carat cushion-cut diamond designed by Lorraine Schwartz.

“That was the only piece of jewelry I owned that I didn’t take to Paris,” Kim said, referencing the terrifying 2016 robbery where she was held at gunpoint.

WHY NORTH?

Kim explained that North was part of the moment when Kanye popped the question:

“And so that one I’m going to give to Northie because she was with me when I got engaged. And she held it after, and I took a photo. She was just a few months old.”

TWO RINGS AND A WARNING!

Kanye originally proposed with a 15-carat diamond on Kim’s 33rd birthday in October 2013.

But later, he upgraded her to a 20-carat emerald-cut stunner—also by Lorraine Schwartz.

Unfortunately, that second, larger ring was stolen in the infamous Paris heist.

But here’s where it gets interesting—it turns out the ring had a hidden engraving that only Kim and Kanye knew about.

Kim first debuted the upgraded diamond at the 2016 VMAs, but before the robbery, she spilled the story behind it on Radio Andy.

“My husband did surprise me, it’s a really cute story, he’s going to kill me if I share it.”

Kim revealed that Kanye woke her up in the middle of the night with a gift, teasing, “I got you something from Adidas.” Half-asleep, she brushed him off, assuming it was shoes. But then, he placed a Lorraine Schwartz box on her pillow and told her to open her eyes.

Inside? The 20-carat diamond ring—engraved with the word “Adidas” as a nod to Kanye’s massive deal with the brand.

And here’s where it gets even wilder—Kanye actually warned Kim about wearing both rings in public!

“Kanye saw it and went, ‘Don’t you ever wear both of your rings at the same time. Are you looking to get robbed?” Kim recalled.

Seems like he saw it coming… but at least North West is now set to inherit a piece of Hollywood history.
