What a rock! Congrats are in order for Demi Lovato as she flashed a huge diamond engagement ring last night on her ring finger from beau actor Max Ehrich. The couple announced on social media late Wednesday and gave us a stunning up-close shot of the huge sparkler!
Our jaw hit the floor when we laid eyes on the massive diamond bauble from Rodeo jeweler extraordinaire Peter Marco.
Several news outlets are reporting that the ring -an emerald-cut center diamond flanked with matching twin trapezoid side stones looks to be worth between $450,000 and $850,000. The hefty center stone could be approximately 5 carats making it easily worth $250,000! People.com states that it turns out Ehrich had bought the huge stone two months prior and waited to propose when the custom setting was finished!
According to KultureHub.com Peter Marco has been in the jewelry game for over 40 years and has several high profile clients like Floyd Mayweather Jr., Shaq, and Lonzo Ball, to some of hip-hop’s iciest like Offset, Rich the Kid and The Weeknd.
Emerald cut engagement rings have been surging in popularity lately. In fact, the shape has been worn by happily engaged celeb babes like Jennifer Lawrence, Jennifer Lopez, and Debby Ryan.
And according to NY Post Ehrich may have had some help picking out the ring; some eagle-eyed fans noted on Twitter that the bold emerald-cut style is nearly identical to the fake engagement ring that the singer wore in her 2018 “Tell Me You Love Me” music video.
Demi celebrated the engagement by wearing a gorgeous pair of Extended Horseshoe earrings with diamonds worth $6,600 from Established Jewelry.
