Dior designer Maria Grazia Chiuri drew inspiration from animals once again (see Dior’s Cruise 2019 collection ) and created an enchanted menagerie of gems for Dior’s Fall 2018 Couture show. Mischievous monkeys and birds were perched on branches accented with pearls and brightly enameled flowers that hung from chain drop earrings. Velvet chokers with magical unicorns adorned models’ necks and colorful statement rings graced their fingers as they walked down the catwalk. What we truly love is how Maria took the popular DiorTribales earring and replicated that asymmetrical effect (small pearl rests on the ear while the largest peeps out subtly from behind the lobe) with the tops of the earrings.

Olivia Palmero was one of many celebs spotted at the Couture show and wore Dior’s Amulettes d’Amour choker and necklace layered with the house’s lucky locket star necklace.
Zoey Deutch layered on the necklaces including the J’ADIOR Dior nameplate choker and donned an animal ring from Dior’s Cruise 2019 collection.

Ahead of the highly anticipated show Yoon took to her Instagram account and offered us a sneak peek at the SS19 jewelry range which she showcased to none other than Kim Kardashian.

Yoon created a slew of playful unisex rainbow-colored rings and bracelets that will undoubtedly attract a younger clientele for Dior. There were bumbling bee pins and bold initial CD rings, chokers, and ear studs glittered in gold while some were constructed out of semi-precious stones such as lapis lazuli, onyx, and amethyst. Clever iPhone cases had ring finger grips spelling out the brand’s name so that when you take a selfie, you can see Dior. Our favorite jewelry piece? Yoon’s ingenious take on the safety pin, transforming it from a common find to a soon to be cult coveted Dior earring.
