Days 8 & 9 brought forth the red carpet premiere of ‘La Passion De Dodin Bouffant’ and Chopard’s annual Cannes Film Festival gala/dinner which the luxury brand hosts each year at the festival. It’s a chance to get a glimpse of all the pieces designed by Caroline Scheufele, Chopard’s co-president and artistic director, who chose “art” as the theme for this year’s Red Carpet Collection.
Don’t forget to see past Cannes Film Festival premiere jewelry looks right here!
CHOPARD ART DINNER:
ASHLEY GRAHAM: We knew these looked familiar! Graham’s Chopard earrings featuring 38.53 carats of kunzites, 34.64 carats of rhodolites, and diamonds set in 18k white gold were first spotted on the earlobes of none other than Julia Roberts at the Ticket to Paradise premiere in Los Angeles last year.
PETRA NEMCOVA: Pearl perfection. A fixture at every Cannes Film Festival Chopard event, model Petra Nemocova draped herself in their latest pearly confections accented with diamonds, beryls, opals, peridots, multicolored sapphires, and tourmalines.
EMMA THYNN: The Marchioness of Bath gave us our first glimpse of Chopard’s newest and most whimsical suite of swan-themed diamond pave jewels.
NAOMI CAMPBELL: It’s refreshing to see this 70.01-carat brown pear-shaped diamond necklace paired with a sleek black tux, instead of a frilly red carpet gown, on supermodel Naomi Campbell.
CINDY BRUNA: Talk about sparkle! The model’s diamond drop earrings from Chopard’s ‘Garden of Kalahari Collection’ are set in 18-karat white gold and feature a total of 59.9 carats worth of diamonds. These mismatched gems – one features a pear-shaped diamond, while the other is a heart – made their red carpet debut on Charlize Theron at the 2017 Oscars.
‘LA PASSION DE DODIN BOUFFANT’ PREMIERE:
SOFIA RESING: The model donned the most striking asymmetrical diamond high jewelry wrap necklace we have ever seen, complete with an oval-shaped emerald center by Yessayan Jewelry.
AARIF RAHMAN: Hong Kong actor, singer, and songwriter Aarif Rahman affixed a delightful peapod brooch with delicate gold leaves and lustrous cultured pearls by Jean Schlumberger for Tiffany & Co. to the lapel of his black tuxedo.
JOURDAN DUNN: Jourdan truly had a princess red carpet moment in her light blue Elie Saab gown complete with Boucheron’s Serpent Bohème earrings and ring. A Python bracelet set with champagne diamonds and two emeralds, in pink gold wrapped around the model’s wrist.
