A dash of the Seventies mixed in with the iconic imagery of Roman god Hercules- a symbol for strength and heroism provided just a few of the powerful themes from the Gucci Cruise 2020 collection. Staged at Capitoline Museums in Rome, Alessandro Michele demonstrates his magpie-esque genius with models strutting down the runway festooned with large gold bibs, rhinestone head dresses and golden Calder-esque chandeliers and chokers.
