Helen Mirren Wears $250,000 Worth of David Webb Jewelry to ‘Catherine The Great’ LA Premiere

Just when we thought Helen Mirren couldn’t possibly top her Chopard jewels at the London premiere of Catherine The Great she arrives at the LA premiere wearing $250,000 worth of David Webb jewelry!

The actress was red carpet chic in Webb’s vibrant 18K gold carved emerald, oval cabochon turquoise, and diamond Couture Shangri-La necklace which retails for a cool $176,000. The Dame also wore Webb’s matching Shangri-La earrings valued at $38,000 and topped off her stunning look with a delightful Turban ring worth $36,000 of amethyst, turquoise, and diamonds.  Who knew turquoise was Helen Mirren’s color?

LADY GAGA: So who had the most expensive jewels at this year’s red carpet? That award goes to none other than Lady Gaga’s $30 million yellow and white diamond necklace from Tiffany & Co. The yellow diamond alone weighs a little over 128 carats and according to People.com has a fantastic connection to Audrey Hepburn and the movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
