JEAN PAUL GAULTIER: In the whirlwind of less than three years, Jean Paul Gaultier’s guest designer program has turned fashion on its head, spawning some of the most buzzworthy and viral haute couture moments. This time, all eyes are fixed on Paco Rabanne’s creative director, Julien Dossena. In an interview with Vogue.com, he unveiled his vision: “I wanted a feeling of characters you pass in the street in Paris and I wanted to make all of them queens, each with a different crown.”
Dossena’s masterstroke of blending equality with diversity was nothing short of genius – adorning his Parisian “characters” with diadems and jeweled circlets they might’ve stumbled upon at a market.
