VALENTINO: Valentinoās Pierpaolo Piccioli staged a highly decorative couture show comprising of long ornamental earrings adorned with pearls, lapis and coral stones that reflected a folksy element to them. 
JEAN PAUL GAULTIER: With Christina Aguilera in attendance promoting the brand with her logo rings Jean Paul Gaultier showcased a jewelry collection heavily influenced by the 80s. Think Technotronicās Pump Up the Jam meets Salt-n-Pepaās Push It inspired jewels – gold ornate oversized earrings and chains to rainbow-colored acrylic and geometric chokers and cuffs.
CHRISTIAN DIOR: Inspired by Bernard Rudofsky’s Are Clothes Modern essay designer Maria Grazia Chiuri delved into the marvelous world of Surrealism and procured a bevy of jewels from a caryatid to a beetle that opens up to reveal a small theater scene playing on illusion!ā ā
