Jewelry Details from Schiaparelli Spring 2020 RTW Collection – Paris Fashion Week

With such a strong debut at Schiaparelli’s Haute Couture Fall 2019 collection from new creative director Daniel Roseberry we were excited to see what he had up his sleeve for the jewelry at his RTW debut for Schiaparelli’s Spring 2020 collection. Daniel brought to life a jeweled menagerie complete with gold and polychromatic serpents, crystal-studded iguana brooches and golden octopuses with crystal tentacles encompassing models’ heads as they walk down the runway.  Whimsical facial jewelry, which looked like they were comprised of hastily drawn gold squiggles of a pen, showcased the strength of Daniel Roseberry’s inventiveness which leads us to wonder where his imagination will take us next.Jewelry details from Schiaparelli Spring 2020 RTW CollectionJewelry details from Schiaparelli Spring 2020 RTW CollectionJewelry details from Schiaparelli Spring 2020 RTW CollectionJewelry details from Schiaparelli Spring 2020 RTW CollectionJewelry details from Schiaparelli Spring 2020 RTW CollectionJewelry details from Schiaparelli Spring 2020 RTW CollectionJewelry details from Schiaparelli Spring 2020 RTW CollectionJewelry details from Schiaparelli Spring 2020 RTW CollectionJewelry details from Schiaparelli Spring 2020 RTW CollectionJewelry details from Schiaparelli Spring 2020 RTW CollectionJewelry details from Schiaparelli Spring 2020 RTW CollectionJewelry details from Schiaparelli Spring 2020 RTW CollectionJewelry details from Schiaparelli Spring 2020 RTW CollectionJewelry details from Schiaparelli Spring 2020 RTW CollectionJewelry details from Schiaparelli Spring 2020 RTW Collection

JEWELS FROM THE RUNWAY: Givenchy Fall 2018 Couture

If you don’t know who Clare Waight Keller- Givenchy’s newest Couture designer is then let us refresh your memory. She undoubtedly is the biggest celebrity wedding designer of 2018. Why? Because Keller created Meghan Markle’s gown drawn from a 1964 dress photographed in Vogue magazine on Hubert Givenchy’s longtime muse Audrey Hepburn for her wedding to Prince Harry.

There was a lot of pressure as Keller showcased her second Couture collection for the house yesterday in Paris. The designer adorned the models with several silver sculptural pieces of jewelry that included futuristic hand bracelets, headpieces, collars and mobile earrings. Each piece of jewelry had an organic feel and Thierry Mugler vibe to it especially the robotic  neck/breastplate collars. Our favorite jewelry piece? Those mobile earrings which will be seen in every magazine come Fall.
