What’s a girl gonna do after winning five Grammys? Buy a new piece of bling of course! Billie celebrated with a custom piece crafted by celeb jeweler Boodaddy Diamonds of Koosh Jewelers. The pendant made of 14k gold and black diamonds was created in the shape of the number 5 and the letter X to signify Billie’s 5 wins at her first-ever Grammy Awards and was engraved with her name at the back. So how much does it cost? According to TMZ jewelry pieces similar to Billie’s new bling have cost around $30,000 in the past. Not bad for an eighteen-year-old!
We adore Joan Collins! So when InStyle magazine asked her what was her favorite piece of jewelry we just had to share it with our readers!
Turns out that Joan is a huge fan of Art Deco artist and designer Erté and according to the magazine used to read books about him and collect his sketches from the 1920s. In 1980, when Joan was signed on to do the play The Last of Mrs. Cheyney, she asked him if he would design the costumes since it was a period piece set in the ’20s. He agreed, so Joan flew to Paris to meet him in his atelier.
Years later at an auction in London, Joan saw this beautiful Erté pendant with diamonds and mother of pearl. He had designed very few pieces of jewelry throughout his career, so Joan knew she had to bid on it.
To date, this is her go-to piece to wear and every time Joan puts it on, it reminds the actress of her time with Monsieur Erté.
