We saw a surprising jewelry trend pop up among the men on the red carpet – the brooch. Worn on the lapel it has become the hottest piece of jewelry to grace a tuxedo for 2018!
Our top pick: Lakeith Stanfield. The actor not only rocked a fabulous $14,500 David Webb leopard brooch circa 1975 at the MTV Movie Awards but also sported a divine French Plique -a-jour diamond flower brooch with moving diamond pistels in 18k gold from Beladora Jewelry at the 70th Emmy Awards.

LESLIE JONES: We were blown away by Leslie’s gorgeous diamond and opal teardrop earrings and ring by Jordan Alexander. They were the perfect fit to her iridescent Siriano suit. 
ALLISON JANNEY: Allison’s emerald and diamond Jared Lehr earrings against the bright fucshia sequins of her Prabal Gurung dress was simply striking.
SCARLETT JOHANSSON:Â Always edgy on the red carpet, Scarlett wore an amazing pair of Nikos Koulis diamond earrings and two diamond line bracelets.

YARA SHAHIDI: Yara also wore gold to the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards. The Grown-ish star opted for a handful of gold band rings and gold ball drop earrings from Tiffany & Co.’s City HardWear collection.
ALISHA BOE:Â The 13 Reasons Why actress wore a stunning combination of eye-catching jewels. Alisha’s necklace and rings were by Irene Neuwirth and her amethyst and quartz drop earrings were from Jacquie Aiche.
HALSEY: Halsey in red walked the red carpet in an array of Lorraine Schwartz jewels. Her stylist Maeve Reilly teased us during the day with the selection of jewels she pulled just for the event.
