Oversize necklaces – from architectural to heavly embellished to, simply, many-splendored – are doing their rounds for spring.
Knots Landing
With multiple projects on deck for this year—including the thriller Ma and Olivia Wilde’s directorial debut, Booksmart, out in May—actress Diana Silvers deserves to take a bow. She’s red-carpet ready in Dolce & Gabbana’s baroque necklace

Model Giselle Norman layers a passel of crystals with a red droplet choker for good measure. Alexander McQueen pavé choker ($1,450) and jeweled choker ($2,690)

Mixed Media
Writer, artist, and The Studio Museum in Harlem curator Legacy Russell takes exhibitionism to the next level with a little help from Gucci’s paint box. An eye-catching ornament necklace in an aged-gold finish ($2,390) and a studded choker with gumball-size pearls ($4,700) add exclamation points to statement dressing.

Ahead of the Curve
Isabella Boylston, American Ballet Theatre’s principal dancer and latter-day swan, isn’t afraid to stick her neck out when armed with Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello’s claw-link choker and Dannijo crystal earrings.

Live Links
Actor Adria Arjona—starring this spring in the Amazon series Good Omens and the film Triple Frontier—is living in a new golden age with a major assist from Bottega Veneta’s outsize gold chain necklaces and earrings.

Pyramid Scheme
The Rosetta Stone of accessorizing right now is thinking big. Model Naomi Chin Wing harnesses a Tut-worthy splendor of gold, pearls, and rhinestones with Chanel earrings and necklace.

Hotline Bling
Award-winning Manhattan chef Daniela Soto-Innes has an organic approach to fashion. Here she seasons a zip-up Hermès jumpsuit (Hermès stores) with her own earrings. The entrée? Ralph Lauren Collection’s dramatic stone necklace.

Heart and Soul
Lizzo, who will release her third studio album, Cuz I Love You, this spring, practices the golden rule in Versace’s safety-pin-and-charm link necklaces and earrings.

Leading Light
Model and activist Akiima is dressed to be seen—and heard—in Miu Miu’s modern, maximalist, and bedazzled take on the deb look. Draped necklace ($1,220), embellished velvet collar necklace ($650), crystal headband ($650) all from Miu Miu.

ANGELA BASSETT: Jordana wasn’t the only one to wear celestially themed jewels to a premiere. Angela who stars in the latest installment of the Mission Impossible franchise donned H. Stern’s Genesis star ring. Dangling from her ears were Coomi’s quartz tassel earrings in sterling silver and diamonds.

JULIANNE MOORE: Julianne had our favorite jewelry item of the night. We fell in love with her outstanding dimensional diamond bracelet. However, we were a bit confused with the emerald, diamond, and enamel cuff on her other hand. Personally, we would have swapped that piece out of the mix. Her gorgeous diamond tassel earrings complimented her feathery white Givenchy frock nicely.

PETRA NEMCOVA: The Czech beauty is a Cannes staple and has always worn Chopard at the film festival. The model worked the red carpet and posed for the cameras wearing a delightful butterfly statement ring and champagne-colored diamond waterfall earrings.
ARAYA HARGATE: Interesting jewelry choice for Araya’s Dior dress. While we love the multi-hued oversize diamond Chopard hoops we’re not totally convinced that this was the right jewelry choice for her outfit. Do you agree?
