One of the most highly anticipated shows of New York Fashion Week has to be Area’s Spring 2020 collection. Designers Beckett Fogg and Piotrik Panszczyk are the masterminds behind the label’s coveted crystal creations and their use of rhinestone crystal strands woven together create some of the most colorful extreme and wearable pieces ever to hit a runway.
After last season’s coveted crochet circle earrings, the boys decided to amp it up with full rhinestone facial pieces, elaborate nose rings, and floral chokers and earrings which were inspired in part by Fifties and Sixties Americana.
Singer Kehlani showed her support by wearing the label’s $395 crystal loop fringe choker.

POPPY: The popular YouTuber and singer stacked on Messika’s Move Pei cuffs and Move Joaillerie rings. 
HALIMA ADEN: The model looked simply sensational in an array of diamond Messika jewels. We especially loved her Move Addiction tie necklace.
TEYANA TAYLOR: Teyana wore one of our favorite Messika pieces- the Paris est une Fete Zelda diamond choker inspired by the Roaring Twenties.
MARIA BORGES: The model wore one of Messika’s signature pieces -the Move Addiction choker from Gigi Hadid and Valerie Messika’s first collaboration. 
TIFFANY HADDISH: The comedian wore Messika’s twin trilogy and Sirenetta rings with a 16ct pear-cut Diamond Spears earring. 
Among the celebrities that attended the show was actress Kate Beckinsale who wore a pair of the designer’s black floral chandelier earrings and model Rosie Huntington-Whitely wearing diamond swirl earrings from David Webb.
