It’s official! Olivia Culpo is getting married! The former Miss Universe is heading down the aisle as she announced on Friday that she is engaged to NFL beau of 4 years Christian McCaffrey.
Culpo posted a slideshow of photos on Instagram of Christian getting down on one knee.
“We tried to keep this quiet for as long as possible but apparently word travels fast. I’m marrying my best friend. I love you so much, fiancé,” she added via Instagram Story.
As reported by People.com McCaffrey proposed while the couple was on a getaway in Utah with a ring designed by Ring Concierge.
According to Ring Concierge’s Instagram stories, Christian knew Olivia loves oval-shaped diamonds so they set about finding the perfect stone to craft her ring around.
“We worked with Christian to thoughtfully design a ring that encompassed Olivia’s trendsetting style while still remaining timeless — a beautifully cut oval flanked with epaulette side stones in a handcrafted gold and platinum setting,” shared Nicole Wegman, founder, and CEO of Ring Concierge.
Culpo’s ring is a Whisper Thin three-stone oval with epaulette side stones in two tones of yellow gold and platinum. As for the cost? According to Page Six, experts speculate that the center stone looks to be 5-8 carats and the ring is likely worth $500,000-$600,000.
