The premiere of Benedetta showcased some of the most unusual and delightful jewels we’ve ever come across at the Cannes Film Festival.
ANJA RUBIK: There’s just something so sublime about Rubik’s Boucheron look that she wore on day 4 of the Cannes Film Festival. The model cleverly stacked the Arrow of Time necklace, set with mother-of-pearl and paved with diamonds, on white gold with the French jewelry house’s Art Deco-inspired Ruban Diamants choker, from the Haute Joaillerie Histoire de Style collection.
MAEVA COUCKE: The hoop trend continued to dominate the red carpet at Cannes courtesy of former Miss France’s white gold and diamond hoop earrings from Messika jewelry.
MAGGIE GYLLENHAAL: At first glance, Maggie wasn’t one of our favorites at the premiere. Her Chopard Green Carpet Collection necklace set with 43 carats of pear-shaped diamonds was gorgeous but we have to admit, her jewelry look seemed to be missing something. Scrolling through the Getty Images resulted in a gasp of delight as we spotted a single Chopard Green Carpet Collection earring set with 14 carats of diamond nestled at the top of her ear!
VIRGINIE EFIRA: The Benedetta star wore one of our favorite jewelry pieces – the Cactus de Cartier necklace in 18K yellow gold sprinkled with emeralds, rubies, and diamonds. A matching bracelet and Goldmaster ring in 18K yellow gold completed the actress’ red carpet look.
IZABEL GOULART: We’re slightly obsessed with the model’s 18-karat white gold & moonstone cabochon, sapphires, and diamond pendant earrings, and matching cuff bracelet from Chopard.
NICOLAS MAURY: What a delight the French actor has been to the Cannes Film Festival red carpet! On his lapel danced a fish caressing a 71.69-carat oval Ethiopian cabochon white opal in a form of a brooch. Gracefully climbing around his ear was Boucheron’s ethereal ear pendant, set with opals and diamonds with lacquer, on rose gold.
MÉLANIE LAURENT: Kudos to the Frech actress for wearing a chic suit accented with an Haute Joaillerie brooch in 18K white gold, diamonds, rock crystal, and black lacquer and Panther earrings in 18K white gold, emeralds, and diamonds, all signed by Cartier.
CANNES TROPHY DINNER LATER THAT NIGHT:
JESSICA CHASTAIN: The red hair, green dress, and those divine amethyst Chopard jewels created a gorgeous Cannes look – one we like best so far – for Chastain. That epic cuff bracelet she wore contained seven oval-cut amethysts, fancy-cut amethysts & sapphires combined with pear-shaped and brilliant-cut Paraiba tourmalines, pear-shaped emeralds, and diamonds.
PAZ VEGA: Another unique piece of animal-themed jewelry came courtesy of Vega’s Chopard choker of Tahitian pearls each accented with 13 dog breeds rendered in different colored diamonds perched above.
