Hoda Kotb had some amazing news to share with her Today show viewers! She and boyfriend Joel Schiffman got engaged and we have all the details on her $250,000 ring!
According to Good Housekeeping Hoda’s ring appears to be a five-carat Asscher cut diamond set in a blue sapphire halo worth an estimated $250,000.00
People.com dug even further and found out that the jewelry designer is none other than Kotb’s friend, jeweler Jennifer Miller who designed the massive radiant-cut bezel-set stone, surrounded by a halo of pavé sapphires. The magazine also noted that the band is covered in pavé diamonds to give the design even more glitz. 
When interviewed Hoda stated “What touched me so much about this ring is that he thought about it. And he thought about what I might like. He went to [Miller] and they were sharing things back and forth unbeknownst to me. He was giving her ideas.” As Hoda dished about Schiffman to Andy Cohen “You know, I met him a couple of years ago and he’s the greatest guy ever.”
