The Oscars and Vanity Fair after party delivered serious high jewelry drama, but a few trends completely took over the carpet. Rubies were the gemstone of the night, popping up on Dove Cameron and Zoe Saldana, while colored diamonds added a fresh twist to all that classic sparkle. Earrings were doing the most, from sculptural ear climbers on Vittoria Ceretti and Naomi Watts to the unexpected return of tassel styles, with Queen Latifah fully committing to the trend. And when it came to necklaces, subtle was not the assignment, especially with looks cascading down the back like Olandria. Consider this your cheat sheet to the jewelry moments everyone is still talking about.

ROSE BYRNE: While everyone else played it safe, Byrne did a full power move in a 22.58-carat cognac diamond choker with chocolate enamel and an Arizona Blue ceramic 16.54-carat Ashoka-cut diamond ring from Taffin. Best jewels of the night? It’s getting hard to argue otherwise.
GINNIFER GOODWIN: Love a choker moment and Ginnifer Goodwin delivered in a Sabyasachi stunner centered on a 10.35-carat emerald, flanked by a cool 84 carats of mint green tourmalines and diamonds.
DEMI MOORE: Demi Moore made Boucheron her best friend on and off the Oscar carpet. For her first look she wore Vendôme Liseré sleepers set with blue emerald-cut tourmalines, paved with diamonds on white gold with black lacquer, paired with a matching ring and bracelet. The piece de résistance was her Ruban Diamants transformable piece in bracelet form.
Off the Oscar carpet and onto the Vanity Fair party, her second look went all in on diamonds with Serpent Bohème XL motif sleepers and the Serpent Bohème Solarité necklace. Which one was your favorite out of the two?
REI AMI: Rei Ami turned to David Webb to drip her out on the Oscars carpet. Her look featured Sky Lantern earrings with emerald drops, fluted amethyst beads, and brilliant-cut diamonds, paired with a cocktail ring set with rubellite, emeralds, and diamonds. But if we had to pick, her Vanity Fair Webb moment easily stole the show. The Paper Clip Necklace with dual drops of faceted aquamarines set against black enamel and accented with diamonds popped against her red Quine Li fur gown and won it for us, no question.
ANNE HATHAWAY: Bvlgari unveiled a worldwide preview of two exceptional High Jewelry creations from its upcoming Eclettica collection and one was around Anne Hathaway’s neck. Her Neoclassical Starlight High Jewelry necklace featured a central 8.02-carat pear-cut fancy vivid yellow diamond surrounded by a constellation of pear, round and step-cut diamonds. Add her transformable Daphne’s Laurel earrings set with fancy intense yellow and white diamonds and two high jewelry rings and you have one of the most dazzling jewelry moments of the night.
CHASE INFINITI: Only Chase Infiniti and Anne Hathaway went bold in vivid yellow diamonds and we are here for it. Chase’s De Beers pear-shaped jacket earrings and London Metamorphosis Summer choker popped against her light mauve dress for a red carpet moment no one saw coming.
ZENDAYA: Zendaya was slated as an Oscar presenter and we knew the watch would be key. Rolex had just announced her ambassadorship days before and she did not disappoint. We have a big pet peeve when actresses wear clunky watches on the red carpet. Her Lady Datejust was fully iced out in diamonds, looking more like a bracelet than a watch, which we loved. We’re guessing her ambassadorship with Bvlgari is over as her stylist Law Roach went next level with Cindy Chao The Art Jewel Diamond Branch earrings and ring in titanium and gold, set with over 40 carats of diamonds accented with yellow diamond details.
PRIYANKA CHOPRA: Luxury with a bite! Priyanka Chopra Jonas turned heads in Bvlgari’s second high jewelry creation from its upcoming Eclettica collection. The Serpenti Illusio necklace isn’t subtle—a 14.01-carat antique cushion-cut sapphire from Madagascar sits front and center, paved with diamonds, accented with onyx and emeralds, and wrapped in Bvlgari’s iconic serpent motif.
MARSAI MARTIN: Martin stole the spotlight in Messika’s Fauve choker and matching earrings, mastering the modern collar trend with bold, sculptural flair. Inspired by the striking landscapes of Namibia, the pieces are both artistic and edgy. She finished the look with a Messika by Kate Moss Exotic Charm bracelet and the Star Chaser and Fiery rings, proving young Hollywood can slay with attitude and undeniable style.
KRISTEN WIIG: Wiig gave us a choker moment to remember in Boucheron’s Quatre Classique necklace. The stacked coin-like discs in yellow, pink, and white gold paved with diamonds were playful, chic, and totally unexpected. Add to the mix a 19.16-carat citrine snake ring and the Quatre Classique XXL cuff, and you get a red carpet look that’s equal parts fun and unforgettable.
TEYANA TAYLOR: Teyana Taylor’s Tiffany reign continues. We were hoping for archival but she went with the house’s Shooting Star necklace from the Blue Book 2024 Tiffany Céleste collection. Hard to miss an over 18 -carat internally flawless emerald cut diamond that doubles as a ring.
ALMA JODOROWSKY: The model rocked a $65,637 Pierreries citrine necklace inspired by archival jewels from the 1810s and and mastered the night’s asymmetrical earring trend. Citrine on one lobe, amethyst and diamond on the other, all by Mellerio.
RYAN DESTINY: Ryan Destiny draped herself in MARLI New York’s CHANCE set and owned the night. White gold, diamonds, black onyx and sleek black enamel, necklace, ring, bracelet, every piece sharp, slinky and utterly modern.
MAGGIE KANG: Rubies were arguably the red‑hot gemstone of the Oscars, and Maggie Kang, co-director of KPop Demon Hunters, nailed it. Chaumet’s Sword Lily necklace with seven Mozambique rubies totaling 14.03 carats and diamonds made her red carpet ready and impossible to ignore.
ZOE SALDANA: Besides Rose Byrne’s show-stopping Taffin pieces, everyone was talking about Zoe Saldana and her Cartier En Équilibre necklace. Emerald-cut rubies and diamonds sat front and center while the adjustable ruby clasp let the rest of the necklace cascade down her back, making the look playful, fluid, and utterly red carpet–ready. Ruby trend confirmed and Zoe totally owned it.
SARAH PAULSON: Sarah Paulson nailed the diamond memo in Boucheron’s Chevron necklace, but our hearts went to her quirky Wladimir The Cat ring, with emeralds and pavé diamonds doing all the talking.
KYLIE JENNER: Although she didn’t walk the carpet,still had everyone talking about her gems. Most notably that custom asymmetrical Lorraine Schwartz diamond necklace with twin pear drops hanging off a giant marquise. Add even more diamonds from Kylie’s cluster earrings and her signature pinky ring, and the total comes to a cool 200 carats.
PHILIPPINE LEROY BEAULIEU: Pomellato house ambassador and Emily in Paris star Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, made jaws drop in the Blue Chain Cascade necklace: 18k white gold, a 22-carat cushion-cut sapphire, and 1,241 diamonds. The kind of sparkle only an ambassador can pull off.
EIZA GONZALEZ: Eiza Gonzalez showed up and stole the spotlight in David Yurman’s Ombre Spinel Linear Drops. Shades of gray, pink, and lavender spinels framed in diamonds made the earrings feel playful, chic, and scandalously elegant all at once.
SARA SAMPAIO: Another ear moment that we loved? Sara Sampaio kept it all about the ears at Elton John’s Oscar Viewing Party in Dena Kemp 18k white gold earrings set with aquamarine, diamonds and pearls. Proof you do not need a necklace to make noise.
VITTORIA CERETTI: Leo’s love, Vittoria Ceretti, brought one of the strongest jewelry looks of the night at the Vanity Fair Oscar party. On one ear, a vintage ruby Repossi cuff. On the other, a diamond DYNE Elixia, finished with a Moussaieff ruby and diamond bangle. Red hot.
QUEEN LATIFAH: Thank goodness for Queen Latifah bringing color back to the Vanity Fair Oscar party carpet in Lagos ruby and diamond gems. She also nailed one of the night’s biggest trends, tassel earrings in carved amethyst beads with diamond accents and ruby beaded drops. Finally, some fun.
ANYA TAYLOR JOY: Anya Taylor-Joy wearing Tiffany is hardly a surprise but that did not make it any less major. A Céleste Wings necklace, Bird on a Rock drop earrings and two of the biggest diamond rings we’ve ever laid eyes on. Predictable maybe but definitely not quiet.
HARI NERF: Too many diamonds? Hari Nef said why choose one necklace when you can wear all of them? Layered De Beers diamond necklaces and a Butterfly cocktail ring proving more really is more.
ELLE FANNING: Elle Fanning is officially the Cartier Queen. Her Wisteria necklace might look familiar, and here’s why: it was originally a pair of diamond brooches created in 1903, famously worn by Rachel Weisz in her hair as a tiara at the 2019 Oscars.
SIMONE ASHLEY: Simone Ashley was a silver siren in Buccellati Tulle earrings in white gold and diamonds, inspired by the Italian house’s signature tulle technique. The delicate craftsmanship is stunning, and paired with a cocktail ring, it proves that sometimes the right jewelry is all about complementing the outfit.
NAOMI WATTS: Pear-cut diamonds, pavé rounds, white gold—Naomi Watts wore Boucheron Rosier clip earrings from the Untamed Nature collection and a Vendôme Liseré ring. Ear envy? Delivered
RENATE REINSVE: Renate Reinsve proved one bracelet can do all the talking. White gold and diamonds on the wrist, paired with a white gold, onyx and diamond ring from Louis Vuitton High Jewelry. Quiet? Not a chance.
CIARA: Sculptural, minimal, but somehow pure maximum glam. It was impossible to miss Ciara in a Stephane Rolland Jewelry Collection diamond necklace with an emerald cabochon on the VF red carpet.
LAKE BELL: Didn’t we tell you tassel earrings are hot right now? Lake Bell proved it. Her lobes were decked with David Webb ruby tassel earrings accented with emeralds and diamonds, paired with a cocktail ring of cabochon rubies, emeralds, and diamonds, a total juicy gemstone moment.
GABRIELLE UNION-WADE: Gabrielle Union almost twinned with Anya Taylor-Joy in Tiffany necklaces, but hers had a twist. The Starfish pendant featured a green cuprian elbaite tourmaline weighing over 22 carats, making it completely her own and impossible to ignore.
DOVE CAMERON: Dove Cameron clearly got the ruby memo. She wore Pasquale Bruni’s Heart to Earth choker in white gold and diamonds, topped with a radiant ruby pendant drop that made everyone look twice. White gold and diamond rings from the Giardini Segreti and Aleluiá collections finished the look.
OLANDRIA: Olandria kept it business in the front with diamond rings, but one turn revealed a completely different story: a 106 carat D flawless diamond necklace draped down her back by Azature, reportedly worth $10 million. Subtle from the front, shocking from the back.
ZOEY DEUTCH: Red carpet lesson from Zoey Deutch: simplicity can slay. One Boucheron Lavallière Diamants necklace in white gold and black lacquer, fully paved with diamonds, and she owns the night.
