While 2020 Oscars are usually all about the ladies and their dazzling diamond gems the men certainly made a gem-worthy statement at this year’s event. Here are some of our red carpet favorites.

TIMOTHEE CHALAMET’S VINTAGE BROOCH

While The Little Women star got major slack for not wearing a tux we’ll let that slip thanks to his vintage 1955 Cartier pin containing 18k white gold with rubies and diamonds.

ANTONIO BANDERAS’ CELESTIAL  GEMS

The Oscar nominee added some celestial sparkle to his lapel and cuffs with a bespoke set of diamond star-themed 18k recycled white gold jewels which included a brooch and cufflinks from Atelier Swarovski Fine Jewellery.

BILLY PORTER’S SHOW-STOPPING SWAROVSKI SPARKLE

Porter certainly knows how to make an entrance to an awards show!  Wearing a custom Giles Deacon gold leaf ensemble Billy topped the golden look with Atelier Swarovski Stephen Webster Bamboo Shoots Cocktail Ring, which features a 26.69ct created pink sapphire, Swarovski’s own Duchess ring, and several pieces from the rose quartz Double Diamond collection by Stephen Webster Jewelry.

For his performance look, Billy wore a Lark & Berry x Diamond Foundry necklace. Designed in London, the masterpiece holds 64.5 ct of cultured diamonds set in 18k White Gold taking over 8 months to produce from design to development.⁠

TAIKA WAITITI’S ONE OF A KIND BROOCH

The Jojo Rabbit producer added a pop of color with his one-of-a-kind Nikos Koulis brooch made of emerald, white diamonds, and pearl. Love the geometric and Art Deco feel of this unique piece.

ELTON JOHN & DAVID FURNISH’S COOL BROOCHES

Winning an Oscar for Best Song for Rocketman Elton John dazzled us yet once again with an 18-carat gold and diamond bespoke Rocket man brooch from Theo Fennell. Hubby David Furnish also wore a special Fennell piece, a pavé-set white and black diamond snake, with circular-cut ruby eyes, mounted in white gold. Elton topped off his look with his custom Loree Rodkin Diamond  Evil Eye Bondage ring on his pinky finger similar to the one shown below.

MAHERSHALA ALI’S TALISMAN & RING

The two-time Oscar winner caught our eye with his signature Tsavorite crystal amulet and pave cufflinks in black diamonds from David Yurman. A Zaldivar Paris handcrafted 18k yellow gold and sterling silver ring with black spinels and Colombian emerald rocked his pinky finger.

LEONARD DICAPRIO’S CUSTOM CUFFLINKS

To mark the momentous occasion of an Oscar nomination for Once Upon A Time… In Hollywood, Leo turned to David Yurman to create a custom pair of cufflinks from their Streamline Collection with the award show date on it.

ANTHONY RAMO’S STATEMENT NECKLACE

Anthony, who starred in Hamilton with Lin-Manual Miranda and is playing the lead role, which Lin originated on Broadway stopped us in our tracks with his unique bar pin and opulent gold plate and gemstone livery collar from Dolce & Gabbana.
