You Won’t Believe the Hidden Clues in Taylor & Travis’ Engagement!
The clues are adding up. A pinkie on the fourth finger, 13-day timing, and even a sneaky jewelry book cameo, Taylor thought of everything!
First off, did you know Travis is the 13th guy Taylor has been in a relationship with? Coincidence? Swifties aren’t so sure.
LET’S TALK ABOUT THE RING!
Reports suggest the diamond ring is estimated to be 7 to 10 carats. Thanks to People.com, we know it’s an old mine elongated cushion cut brilliant diamond. Travis tapped jewelry designer Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry to help with the design. Gem Merchant Anup Jogani even congratulated Kindred Lubeck, so the diamond might be sourced from him.
Tree Paine, Taylor’s publicist, confirmed to the Associated Press that the style of the diamond is known as an old mine brilliant cut.
There are a few signature elements that make this style stand out: it is typically square with rounded corners and features 58 facets. Swifties immediately did the math that 5+8=13!
As for the cost? Estimates range from $500,000 to $5 million, a pretty broad range in terms of cost estimate.
What makes it extra special is that it’s designed by an independent female jeweler, not a big-name brand, and fans are loving it.
WHEN DID IT ALL HAPPEN?
Before Travis’ dad leaked the news, Instagram account @facereality16 analyzed Taylor’s nails and deduced that the proposal was exactly 13 days after the podcast drop.
Taylor’s pinkie finger was even touching her fourth ring finger; was that a clue all along?
Interestingly, @facereality16 also noted that Kindred Lubeck is dropping a Vault collection of unseen designs, which mirrors Taylor’s Vault of unreleased songs – both are treasures brought into the light.
POSSIBLE DETAILS ON THE RING
While we can’t get a super close look at the ring, Kindred is known for her romantic, handcrafted gold bands with side engravings, and Taylor’s ring clearly has some of that.
Fans have spotted a few fun hints:
The “TNT” logo at the end of their engagement post mirrors their custom TNT bracelets, suggesting the ring might be engraved with “T”s or “TNT”.
The ring is reminiscent of her Showgirl TS logo, similar, echoing the shape and engraving.
Overall, it’s giving major Great Gatsby vibes to the elegance, the story, and the overall drama.

It turns out Carol’s book had a second edition cover with a hand wearing an engagement ring. Coincidence? We don’t think so. Taylor clearly plans everything down to the last detail, and now we can confidently say fans were being given tiny hints all along!
