When the Oscars fall on the weekend of your RTW show you do what Tom Ford did. He presented his Fall RTW 2020 collection with a star-packed house that included everyone from Jennifer Lopez and Miley Cyrus to Renée Zellweger and Kate Hudson. “When the Oscars overlap with Fashion Week, where else would I be?” was all the Council of Fashion Designers of America chairman would say afterward about showing in L.A. instead of New York according to WWD.
Ford described the collection as “Chic, possibly slightly stoned…it conveys the mood for the season and a mood that for me is very L.A.” Clothes reflected the Forties meets the Seventies meets the Nineties silhouettes and were accompanied by the ultimate in stoner chic – huge gold-dipped feather earrings.
Jennifer Lopez was on hand with Alex Rodriguez. 
Miley Cyrus showed her support wearing a K Brunini Jewels Vertebrae necklace.
