
- Well if you’re the least bit curious like us we’ve been scouring the net for close-ups of Katherine Schwarzenegger’s show-stopping engagement ring from Chris Pratt. According to People.com her diamond is the hottest shape right now and appears to be at least 5-carats worth and valued around $150,000- $500,000. Chris you did well!

- Speaking of engagements we finally found out who designed Heidi Klum’s ring and it ain’t Lorraine Schwartz!. People.com is reporting that Heidi’s fianceTom Kaulitz drew the design of the ring himself and went in search for the right stones. Seems that Tom knew Heidi’s favorite color was green and chose the perfect stone to reflect that- an alexandrite.

- So Ari’s title to her new song is called 7 Rings and you’re probably wondering why 7 rings? Well according to TMZ it wasn’t a random song title. After her break-up with Pete Ariana needed some shopping therapy with her girlfriends and decided to hit up a jewelry store where she bought 7 engagement rings for her friends. Ariana call us next time you’re shopping!

- So here’s a bit of interesting news regarding SJP. Seems that the Sex and the City star was hired to endorse jewelry brand Kat Florence Design. The actress agreed to license her name and likeness for marketing purposes in exchange for $7.5 million! RadarOnline is reporting that the jewelry brand is suing SJP for failure to return jewels worth over $149,000 and breaking the endorsement. But wait it gets messy! - Since we’re on the topic of endorsements – did you hear that Penelope Cruz is the latest brand ambassador for John Hardy? In her interview with Vogue.com, the actress stated “I said yes immediately,” she says. “We share values and I’ve been a very big fan for a long time. I love what they do: this mixture of rock and roll and elegance.” The sustainable, hand-crafted nature of the designs appealed to her too. “Every time you look at one of these pieces, it feels like you know the history behind them. They are creating beautiful things while respecting their community,” says Cruz, who was impressed by the use of sustainably sourced stones and recycled metals. The actress follows in the footsteps of Julianne Moore and model Adwoa Aboah.

- Kanye West’s good friend and LV designer Virgil Abloh is starting his own jewelry line. WWD is stating that the debut collection will be all about the humble paper clip. “It’s a necklace, there’s earrings, there’s an accessory. The idea is like high jewelry for all. It’s a crash — it’s a paper clip, but it’s also pavé diamonds made in a very specific way,” he revealed. Not sure we would wear the necklace but hey it seems that everything Virgil touches turns to gold.

GLENN CLOSE: Glenn was a winner in our book with her tanzanite and diamond Ana Khouri sculptural earrings.

ELIZABETH OLSEN: Like Olivia Munn, Elizabeth went with pearls and chose a sweet pair of antique pearl and diamond earrings from Beladora Jewelry.

EMMY ROSSUM: Emmy had the Midas touch when it came to her jewelry choice of a 1980s statement gold and diamond necklace from Fred Leighton. Gold hexagonal diamond studs and assorted diamond band rings and bangles completed her look.

LAURA DERN: A great combination of fine meets fashion jewelry. Dern sported a pair of black and white diamond hook earrings by Ara Vartanian and effortlessly styled them with YSL serpent bracelet and single snake earring.
