Riri tapped New York City’s infamous Popular Jewelry and the NY staple designed three diamond-encrusted custom pieces for the superstar/business mogul. The pieces included her signature “R,” her badgalriri cartoon likeness, and her football-in-hand promotional image. According to Hypebeast, Popular Jewelry is patronized by the likes of Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, and A$AP Rocky and given Rocky’s relationship with the store and its owner, Chiok Va Sam (a.k.a. A$AP Eva) it makes sense that they would be part of Riri’s Super bowl looks.

The Beginning – The Press Conference:
Before she took center stage, Rihanna attended the Apple Music Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show where she wore custom Maria Tash earrings alongside a custom Chrome Hearts diamond cross anklet and a Messika Toi et Moi high jewelry diamond ring.
Fans were quick to zoom in on her ‘Mom’ ring. The gold and diamond script ring was a custom piece from XIV Karats and many thought was a sweet nod to her son. But we were all in for a huge surprise. The singer spoke about balancing the demands of being a mother with her show business persona: “When you become a mom, there’s something that just happens where you feel like you can take on the world. You can do anything, and the Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world,” the singer shared. “So, as scary as that was… there’s something exhilarating about the challenge of it all, and it’s important for me to do this year. It’s important for representation. It’s important for my son to see that.” she said at the press conference. The ring might have been a hint from Rihanna to her fans of her latest pregnancy—news which was confirmed on football’s biggest night.
The Main Event – The Super Bowl Halftime Show:
Fast forward to the halftime show and the superstar flashed a series of icy diamond jewels which included a rare 19-carat ruby and diamond ring from New York-based jewelry house BAYCO. The gorgeous ring features a rare natural, unheated 19.47-carat sugarloaf cabochon Burma ruby and 5.66 carats of trillion-cut and round brilliant diamonds set in platinum and 18-karat yellow gold—which according to Page Six—is worth a whopping $1 million!
On her wrist, she sported a stunning $72k Jacob & Co. brilliant Northern Lights red timepiece which featured a red dial surrounded by 323 diamonds totaling 11.26 carats and a red alligator strap.
Her custom red Loewe flight-inspired suit was the perfect canvas to showcase a series of glittering vintage diamond brooches all from Joseph Saidian and Sons. If you’ve ever questioned if the brooch is back, we’re guessing you don’t need any more proof.
Let’s not forget about Riri’s earring game. She’s a master at mixing it up and she did so by donning five high jewelry diamond earrings from French jeweler Messika.
After the epic show – The Celebratory ring
To celebrate her halftime performance at the sporting event—her live performance first in 5 years—Rihanna finished her epic show by wearing a custom Briony Raymond “championship” ring. The bespoke ring features five carats of round brilliant diamonds hand-rendered in platinum with black enamel detailing depicting the monogram “RFR” for Robyn Rihanna Fenty and the coordinates of Barbados.
“[Rihanna] made the ultimate power play finishing the night wearing the style of ring traditionally reserved for Super Bowl titleholders,” Briony Raymond shared with Page Six Style. “In wearing the ring, she celebrates her own victory and her heritage.” We couldn’t agree more! Rihanna truly shined bright like a diamond!
