Drake’s Gold and Diamond Owl Rolls-Royce Hood Ornament

When Drake purchased his new Phantom Rolls-Royce you know that the rapper had to customize it. So he turned to Tony Bet, CEO of Toronto-based Driving Emotions Motorcar to deck the expensive car out. Drake's gold and diamond Rolls-Royce Owl hood ornamnent

According to JCK Magazine, Tony knew that the owl meant a lot to his friend Drake. Afterall it serves as the mascot to OVO, the Toronto-based record label he cofounded.  So he decided to replace the traditional bonnet ornament – the Spirit of Ecstasy with the OVO owl.Drake's gold and diamond Rolls-Royce Owl hood ornamnent

Bet put a lot of personal details into the piece with help from the Hearts On Fire design team. For starters, the base contains 120 diamonds which represents the sum of the digits that make up Drake’s birth date (10/24/86). There is a carved detail at the bottom which features Drake’s given name Aubrey Drake Graham and according to JCK magazine, each owl’s eye weighs 1.01 carats for a total of “2.020” carats—2020 corresponds to the year of the Rolls-Royce Phantom that lends its form to the foundation of the car design.
